This epic supplement contains 40 new magical trinkets from everyone’s favourite drow-infested cave system, the Underdark! For only $2.95, that’s amazing value!

                                                                                                                                                                           - @JVCParry

The Underdark is a dire place, filled with malevolent beings, brutal monsters, and inhospitable landscapes.

This tome contains 40 unique magical items inspired by the spiteful races, locations, and creatures that make this unique domain what it is. These items are designed to fit seamlessly into any campaign, whether you are running the Out of the Abyss module, your own adventure in the Underdark, or need to bring a touch of darkness to the wider world.

The blood splattered pages detail a multitude of items, from common potions made from the blood of the vampiric Ixitxachitl, to The Word of Graz’zt, a sentient weapon used as tool by the Dark Prince himself. There is something for all levels of campaign, from your first steps in the world to those looking to face off against the very Gods themselves.

You will find:

  • 40 Unique Underdark themed magic items
  • 7 Random item tables allowing easier distribution
  • 3 Underdark magic item property tables, allowing you to create your own nefarious items on the fly.

Good luck down there, you’ll need it.

This product also includes a print friendly version, along with an arachnophobe friendly version, with all of the art involving Lolth’s eight legged followers hidden from view

It is always nice to see magic items that are tailored to very specifically to the environment that they are to be included in. This collection includes some great items to spark ideas for villains, if not whole campaigns and I hope to see more of these themed tomes in the future.

Thank you David, really glad you enjoyed the product! We would love to hear about any campaigns you do run with the collection. One of the team behind Dungeon Rollers has something in the works with "The Word of Graz’zt" staff from this book (though the others don't know about that yet...)

There definitely will be more themed "Treasures of" tomes in the future. In fact, we are just scouring the Undermountain for the "Treasures of the Mad Mage", which will be released December 2018 (assuming we escape Halaster's attentions).

A great selection of Magic Items to lay around your Underdark Dungeons or to arm the Villians of the peace.

Scanned image
These products were created by scanning an original printed edition. Most older books are in scanned image format because original digital layout files never existed or were no longer available from the publisher.

For PDF download editions, each page has been run through Optical Character Recognition (OCR) software to attempt to decipher the printed text. The result of this OCR process is placed invisibly behind the picture of each scanned page, to allow for text searching. However, any text in a given book set on a graphical background or in handwritten fonts would most likely not be picked up by the OCR software, and is therefore not searchable. Also, a few larger books may be resampled to fit into the system, and may not have this searchable text background.

For printed books, we have performed high-resolution scans of an original hardcopy of the book. We essentially digitally re-master the book. Unfortunately, the resulting quality of these books is not as high. It's the problem of making a copy of a copy. The text is fine for reading, but illustration work starts to run dark, pixellating and/or losing shades of grey. Moiré patterns may develop in photos. We mark clearly which print titles come from scanned image books so that you can make an informed purchase decision about the quality of what you will receive.
Original electronic format
These ebooks were created from the original electronic layout files, and therefore are fully text searchable. Also, their file size tends to be smaller than scanned image books. Most newer books are in the original electronic format. Both download and print editions of such books should be high quality.
