The lawless pirate city of Luskan has fallen under attack by swarms of demons and undead. It’s up to the adventurers to find out what’s causing the attack and put a stop to it.

This adventure is heavy on exploration and combat. The player characters must traverse the city in search of clues to find out what happened in the city while combating the threats that populate its streets.

Features

This adventure includes several exciting features for your players to confront.

Focus on Exploration

The biggest part of this adventure involves exploring the city of Luskan. There are nine sectors of the city, each with four or more distinct areas to encounter.

Solve a Mystery

The city of Luskan has fallen, but no one is quite sure why. Guide your players as they unravel the mystery — and fall victim to the red herrings along the way.

Day-Night Cycle

Time plays an important factor in this adventure. Hour by hour, you’ll track what your players do. When night comes, they’d better find shelter from the monsters that roam the city’s streets.

Demons and Undead

The main foes in this adventure are both demons and undead creatures. They’re allied together as servants of a demon lord.

Custom, Personal Challenges

You’ll create the ending challenge for the adventurers based on the questionable choices they’ve made in previous adventures. If your players are class gray-area adventurers, this is the adventure for you.

Hey man, such an awesome adventure I can't wait to try it out, however I am just a little confused as to how the dawn rolls work? Does one player roll at a time or multiple? If multiple how do you determine the final result etc?

Have one of the players (you can pick at random or based on the mood at the table) make the dawn roll each morning. The result affects the whole table, as described in the danger table.

Let me know how the game is! I hope it goes smoothly!

Some typos I see. Page 8, it's an Undead Horde, not Hoard. Page 14: ' fight to
protect their hosing place.' should be hiding. Page 21: 'and as a
feed of water when forest broke out.' should be 'when there was a drought.' Page 22: ' cast lesser respiration to cure the disease' should be 'lesser restoration...' Pages 25 and 26, it's Lloth, not Lolth.

Thanks so much for pointing these corrections out! I've made appropriate changes. Should've had someone proofread before I published. For the record, though, it seems the drow goddess is Lolth *or* Lloth.

So weird, could have thought it was 'LLO' not 'LOL'. Oh well. It's still a well-planned adventure. Good job!

Scanned image
These products were created by scanning an original printed edition. Most older books are in scanned image format because original digital layout files never existed or were no longer available from the publisher.

For PDF download editions, each page has been run through Optical Character Recognition (OCR) software to attempt to decipher the printed text. The result of this OCR process is placed invisibly behind the picture of each scanned page, to allow for text searching. However, any text in a given book set on a graphical background or in handwritten fonts would most likely not be picked up by the OCR software, and is therefore not searchable. Also, a few larger books may be resampled to fit into the system, and may not have this searchable text background.

For printed books, we have performed high-resolution scans of an original hardcopy of the book. We essentially digitally re-master the book. Unfortunately, the resulting quality of these books is not as high. It's the problem of making a copy of a copy. The text is fine for reading, but illustration work starts to run dark, pixellating and/or losing shades of grey. Moiré patterns may develop in photos. We mark clearly which print titles come from scanned image books so that you can make an informed purchase decision about the quality of what you will receive.
Original electronic format
These ebooks were created from the original electronic layout files, and therefore are fully text searchable. Also, their file size tends to be smaller than scanned image books. Most newer books are in the original electronic format. Both download and print editions of such books should be high quality.
