The Yearning Pit

A D&D 5e campaign for 5-10 level players. (Probably the higher end, but we provided enough resources that the lower level end of this specturm whould be fine too)

Summary:
Businesses and homes couldn’t be happier. A recently opened company, The Squeaky Clean, has undercut the Dungsweepers’ Guild by 50%. This company offers to remove all trash and refuse, even sending a cart to pick it up themselves! Businesses can’t wait to get on the route, and small crowds build up around the collection carts begging to be added to the daily pickup. Not everyone is happy though; the members of the Dungsweepers’ Guild are livid with the way this company has suddenly sprung into existence and bypassed the normal formalities. Several guild members have been turned away by the Squeaky Clean when they approached seeking answers. With nowhere else to turn, the head of the guild’s largest company turns to adventurers for help in this time of need.

The players are given a job to "take care of" a competing company. This could be a great hook into getting your players in the good graces with the Street Sweepers' Guild. Once inside however, this turns from being a simple strong arm mission into a cult clensing!  Which cult? Why a trash company? I bet you are oozing to find out!

Hey everyone!  This is our first release so we hope you like it.  Please don't hesitate to let us know any mistakes or thoughts.  If everyone likes this one, we will make some more adventures in the future!

Just so you know, your module has quite a few typos/misspellings and content holes. (For example, "intturrput" on the top right of page 5, instead of *interrupt*. Just... wow.) As well the epithet "the cult wizard" is suddenly used with no explanation of who that actually is. The phrase just appears with no context and I can only *assume* it's referring to Naf Uem based on context clues. It is very unclear and sloppy.

I try to be very forgiving and understanding with DMsGuild content, but if you're going to be asking for people's money for written content, you should make sure to do copyediting.

Hi there. From the preview pages, this looks like it'd be interesting and clearly there's an attention to detail. But your Summary doesn't provide much information about the adventure. For what level range is it? What sorts of things will the PCs be doing? A look at other dmsguild adventures would I suspect provide some guidelines as to the kinds of information your potential buyers might be looking for. Good luck!

Scanned image
These products were created by scanning an original printed edition. Most older books are in scanned image format because original digital layout files never existed or were no longer available from the publisher.

For PDF download editions, each page has been run through Optical Character Recognition (OCR) software to attempt to decipher the printed text. The result of this OCR process is placed invisibly behind the picture of each scanned page, to allow for text searching. However, any text in a given book set on a graphical background or in handwritten fonts would most likely not be picked up by the OCR software, and is therefore not searchable. Also, a few larger books may be resampled to fit into the system, and may not have this searchable text background.

For printed books, we have performed high-resolution scans of an original hardcopy of the book. We essentially digitally re-master the book. Unfortunately, the resulting quality of these books is not as high. It's the problem of making a copy of a copy. The text is fine for reading, but illustration work starts to run dark, pixellating and/or losing shades of grey. Moiré patterns may develop in photos. We mark clearly which print titles come from scanned image books so that you can make an informed purchase decision about the quality of what you will receive.

Original electronic format
These ebooks were created from the original electronic layout files, and therefore are fully text searchable. Also, their file size tends to be smaller than scanned image books. Most newer books are in the original electronic format. Both download and print editions of such books should be high quality.
