The Lady of Trollskull Priory

A Story Expansion for Waterdeep Dragon Heist for Levels 2-4

As the party settles in to their new home in Trollskull Alley, the neighborhood welcomes another addition. A lady from a faraway land has acquired the old Priory of the Overgod, a long-abandoned structure at the eastern end of the alley. Shortly after Lady Boguescu and her small retinue move into the priory, strange occurrences begin haunting the alley. The east end of the alley sees an uptick in vermin, and a strange fog seems to fill the alley, regardless of the season. Shadows seem longer. Soon Fala Lefaliir begins complaining that their supplies are spoiling. Will the owners of Trollskull Manor be able to discover the nature of these dark disturbances and put a stop to it? Or will the people of the alley fall prey to the Lady of Trollskull Priory?

This looks like a great product and I'm looking forward to inserting it into Dragonheist. Things I noticed? The maps made by Dyson Logos, I notice that each square is 10' when usually squares are 5'. Math! Ick! The printer friendly version has two artworks included that pretty much come out as black inserts. The Player handout comes across a little dark as well. Thanks for creating this!

Thanks much for the feedback! I will look at fixing the pages in the print-friendly version so they aren't ink sinks.

With regard to the map scaling, the map is scaled to be consistent with the trollskull alley map provided in Waterdeep Dragon Heist. (also 10' squares)

Enjoy! I look forward to hearing what your players think of the Lady of Trollskull Priory!

Hope a P.O.D. version of this will eventually become available. I'm old school and still like having good old hard copies of modules (a.k.a. one shots). Love your previous works Yearning..,Cottage.., Wake of Rage which are all available as P.O.D. as well as Pdf; that's why I'm hoping this will get a P.O.D. as well. Great Stuff.

Thank you SO MUCH for your kind words and I am thrilled to hear that you have enjoyed my work. For the moment, it seems that the P.O.D beta has ended and DMs Guild is not currently adding new titles to the P.O.D. catalog. If that changes, I would be happy to look to creating a P.O.D version of this title.

Good little adventure that I will certainly use in my upcoming DH campaign. I feel it needs a crawling hand somewhere and a creepy kid... for a Adams Family feel. Why are monlgrelmen always named Hans and Ivan ;) ?

Which building is it supposed to be? Or did you not have a specific building in mind on the Trollskull Alley map?

The building on the southeast corner of the Northeast entrance. Due north of area T7 on the map in Waterdeep Dragon Heist.

There are no character levels listed. Can you confirm the intended PC levels or level range for this?

It is designed to run alongside/within Dragon Heist. Intended for Levels 2-4

Thanks. Might want to add that to the description to help limit confusion. I read the ""Pick up Yearning to Breathe Free, a campaign for characters of levels 5-15..." part and was confused as to the range of this one.

I will add some clarification in the description! Thank you!

Scanned image
These products were created by scanning an original printed edition. Most older books are in scanned image format because original digital layout files never existed or were no longer available from the publisher.

For PDF download editions, each page has been run through Optical Character Recognition (OCR) software to attempt to decipher the printed text. The result of this OCR process is placed invisibly behind the picture of each scanned page, to allow for text searching. However, any text in a given book set on a graphical background or in handwritten fonts would most likely not be picked up by the OCR software, and is therefore not searchable. Also, a few larger books may be resampled to fit into the system, and may not have this searchable text background.

For printed books, we have performed high-resolution scans of an original hardcopy of the book. We essentially digitally re-master the book. Unfortunately, the resulting quality of these books is not as high. It's the problem of making a copy of a copy. The text is fine for reading, but illustration work starts to run dark, pixellating and/or losing shades of grey. Moiré patterns may develop in photos. We mark clearly which print titles come from scanned image books so that you can make an informed purchase decision about the quality of what you will receive.
Original electronic format
These ebooks were created from the original electronic layout files, and therefore are fully text searchable. Also, their file size tends to be smaller than scanned image books. Most newer books are in the original electronic format. Both download and print editions of such books should be high quality.
