This is a Great Template!
Is it available in a Google Doc format by chance?

Cheers,
Morgan

The entirety of the template proves to be extremely helpful but I I'm slightly confuse, if the template is inserted in google docs all of the the chart templates and dm notes become unusable. Is there any way to add them back to the document?

This has made Word crash so many times when trying to edit and move the Creature stat block templates: has anyone found an easier way to move them on the pages?
I too am having the exact same problem of the background disappearing when converting to PDF and as Page B advised putting a background image into the header keeps it.
I am also having trouble with margins that weren't showing in Word popping up when converting to PDF: I can't figure out how to stop it doing this without shifting all the margins badly, any advice?

Once exported as a PDF, the page numbers always revert to 1,2,3 (contents) and then restart at 2 again when it should be page 4... HELP! As headers/footers are hidden there is no option to alter them myself.

I downloaded it as a word doc and that solved my issues. Once you "purchase" it, click on "(WT_DMGuild_Campaign_Template_V2.dotx)" and it will open in word. I did have trouble retaining the background image for some reason and had to grab another one from somewhere else.

Hi Brigette, thanks for the response! I did download it as a Word doc; issue occurs whenever it is exported as a PDF (headers/footers hidden somehow in the Word doc). All very odd.

The background image is tiling when I try to save it as a pdf. Can I change the background or is there somewhere I could get the original image to see if I could stop it from tiling?

I'm not the creator, but this is a common issue in Word. The way I personally deal with it is by avoiding the background image feature in Word, and instead putting the background image into the header or footer of the document (set it to display behind text), which tends to work more reliably.

If you want to pull the included image out of the document, one way is to try saving as HTML. Word will create a folder in the location you saved it which includes all of the images used in the document.

Scanned image
These products were created by scanning an original printed edition. Most older books are in scanned image format because original digital layout files never existed or were no longer available from the publisher.

For PDF download editions, each page has been run through Optical Character Recognition (OCR) software to attempt to decipher the printed text. The result of this OCR process is placed invisibly behind the picture of each scanned page, to allow for text searching. However, any text in a given book set on a graphical background or in handwritten fonts would most likely not be picked up by the OCR software, and is therefore not searchable. Also, a few larger books may be resampled to fit into the system, and may not have this searchable text background.

For printed books, we have performed high-resolution scans of an original hardcopy of the book. We essentially digitally re-master the book. Unfortunately, the resulting quality of these books is not as high. It's the problem of making a copy of a copy. The text is fine for reading, but illustration work starts to run dark, pixellating and/or losing shades of grey. Moiré patterns may develop in photos. We mark clearly which print titles come from scanned image books so that you can make an informed purchase decision about the quality of what you will receive.

Original electronic format
These ebooks were created from the original electronic layout files, and therefore are fully text searchable. Also, their file size tends to be smaller than scanned image books. Most newer books are in the original electronic format. Both download and print editions of such books should be high quality.
