Triumphant in his centuries-long pursuit of his beloved Tatyana, Strahd von Zarovich cannot help but gloat. Wedding invitations have been sent out across Barovia, and all are expected to witness this unholy union. In his arrogance, he has invited the adventurers to his place of power to humiliate them one last time before draining Ireena Kolyana of her life's blood and damning her soul for eternity. Might the gods watch over these wayward souls. Might the strength of their sword-arms and the courage of their hearts be enough to stand boldly against the devil's shadow—for here, in Barovia, all is not well. It can never be well so long as this valley and its people live under the curse of Strahd.

The Wedding at Ravenloft is the titanic conclusion to your Curse of Strahd campaign. Strahd has captured Ireena; the adventurers have one last chance to save her soul and end the Devil's dark reign. This module is balanced for four 9th-level adventurers, and can be completed within 5-7 hours. You can find The Wedding at Ravenloft for Fantasy Grounds here.

Firstly, I want to say that this is truly a work of art. The levels of engagement, thought, and exploration involved in it make it an ideal climax for CoS, and I highly look forward to running it. However, I do have one concern.

When I run CoS, I actively try to make Ireena a more engaging character that is more deeply involved with the party (I often make her a paladin and have her be an NPC party member so she can better contribute to the party). With that in mind, is there any suggestion for running this so that Ireena can truly be saved? Not just her soul being freed by destroying Strahd or burning her body, but truly alive and well? I'm all for a dark end to her story should my players fall for Strahd's deceptions or not act quickly enough, but I also want there to be the possibility of them saving her.

I loved the original version, but this New and Improved Version is awesome! It fixes some of the issues that I had with the originals. A prime one being what happens if you kill both Father Donavich and Father Lucian? The updated version offers a great solution, Strahd resurrects Lucian as a zombie or a vampire spawn. It's a great solution, just the sort of thing that Strahd would do.

It works especially for my campaign because I really wanted to use the Donavich suicide by bell rope. But refrained from doing so because I needed someone to Officiate the wedding. Since the players failed to kill Doru, who's still locked in the Undercroft. I can still kill Father Lucian and Donavich's suicide. Besides I don't think Donavich officiating would have the dramatic impact of the alternative. Especially because my players dislike Donavich and have him pegged as a coward unwilling to do what's necessary.

Okay, rant over. It's a great supplement, well-worth the asking price.

Looks like you got all the bases covered....... but how about a Roll20 conversion?

Can anyone recommend a battlemap for the chapel and reception?

So why would an additional Strahd bride be invited to the wedding and reception but not the three main ones?

Sasha's actually a reference to the 3.5 module "Expedition to Castle Ravenloft," so maybe they wanted a nice little Easter Egg?

Scanned image
These products were created by scanning an original printed edition. Most older books are in scanned image format because original digital layout files never existed or were no longer available from the publisher.

For PDF download editions, each page has been run through Optical Character Recognition (OCR) software to attempt to decipher the printed text. The result of this OCR process is placed invisibly behind the picture of each scanned page, to allow for text searching. However, any text in a given book set on a graphical background or in handwritten fonts would most likely not be picked up by the OCR software, and is therefore not searchable. Also, a few larger books may be resampled to fit into the system, and may not have this searchable text background.

For printed books, we have performed high-resolution scans of an original hardcopy of the book. We essentially digitally re-master the book. Unfortunately, the resulting quality of these books is not as high. It's the problem of making a copy of a copy. The text is fine for reading, but illustration work starts to run dark, pixellating and/or losing shades of grey. Moiré patterns may develop in photos. We mark clearly which print titles come from scanned image books so that you can make an informed purchase decision about the quality of what you will receive.

Original electronic format
These ebooks were created from the original electronic layout files, and therefore are fully text searchable. Also, their file size tends to be smaller than scanned image books. Most newer books are in the original electronic format. Both download and print editions of such books should be high quality.
