Great Adventure for a group getting started in Sharn. Taking the player's to multiple districts, gives some great insight for DM's and Player's into what you can expect in Sharn.

Enjoy seeing the love Eberron has gotten lately. I'm new to running the setting as a DM, but it's been something that's alway's interested me (since the day's I played DDO).

Maybe someone can help me out with a little Detail i can't seem to figure out: The gnome student made a song about "exploring the depths of Tower 13 and the Deep Hollows". No idea what this is a refrence to and haven't been able to look it up. Is this just some made up fluff or in refrence to something relevant? I just know my player's would have follow up questions, easy fix to change the songs subject, but now i'm interested.

How long (roughly) would you estimate this adventure would take to finish? I want too run it for a group but I am only going to have 2 sessions (they go for about 3-4 hours each) to do so, do you think this would be enough time to finish this adventure?

The adventure was intended for approximately 3 to 5 hours with additional content for another 2 hours. Two sessions is plenty of time!

I just noticed an incongruity:
On page 14 Vassilia Kan Santiar is described as a human commoner, while in the Appendix she is a female gnome reporter.

And even higher...

Wait, the description says this goes up to 4...which is it?

Also I assume having the Wayfarer's guide is enough background to run this adventure? I've been debating making up a campaign using some of the plot hooks from that, but I feel like I'd have to do a ton of research on Eberron so I don't mess up any lore or something...makes it super daunting so it's nice to have an adventure published already. I know I should just go for it but this lets me delay that to do more research I guess...

It's for 1-4th level characters, so character of that range can play it. It should take 1st level characters to 2nd level.

Yest the Wayfinder's Guide to Eberron is all you need. If you have Sharn City of Towers it'll help, but is not needed.

Scanned image
These products were created by scanning an original printed edition. Most older books are in scanned image format because original digital layout files never existed or were no longer available from the publisher.

For PDF download editions, each page has been run through Optical Character Recognition (OCR) software to attempt to decipher the printed text. The result of this OCR process is placed invisibly behind the picture of each scanned page, to allow for text searching. However, any text in a given book set on a graphical background or in handwritten fonts would most likely not be picked up by the OCR software, and is therefore not searchable. Also, a few larger books may be resampled to fit into the system, and may not have this searchable text background.

For printed books, we have performed high-resolution scans of an original hardcopy of the book. We essentially digitally re-master the book. Unfortunately, the resulting quality of these books is not as high. It's the problem of making a copy of a copy. The text is fine for reading, but illustration work starts to run dark, pixellating and/or losing shades of grey. Moiré patterns may develop in photos. We mark clearly which print titles come from scanned image books so that you can make an informed purchase decision about the quality of what you will receive.
Original electronic format
These ebooks were created from the original electronic layout files, and therefore are fully text searchable. Also, their file size tends to be smaller than scanned image books. Most newer books are in the original electronic format. Both download and print editions of such books should be high quality.
