ADD TO WISHLIST >

With the liberation of Phlan, refugees from the city have been invited back to start their lives anew. But trouble strikes when one family of refugees goes missing while on the road to Phlan. The new Chancellor seeks answers. Will the adventurers find out what happened to the missing refugees or will they be lost forever?

About Mount Ogden Gaming Company

MOGC is a group of gamers that decided to jump in and take advantage of the CCC program offered by Wizards of the Coast. The adventures we create support the conventions we organize and participate in through the Rocky Mountain RPG Guild. We also work with Under the Wing Gaming who runs our social media campaigns and community outreach. Finally, yet importantly Raven+Moon Co. provides our layout and design when we want our modules to have that extra pop.

While we work with local authors, we also work with Guests of Honor and brand new authors looking to mark publishing a D&D adventure off their bucket list. We look for a diverse group of people in the D&D community globally to work with regardless of experience or background in the industry.

A 4-hour adventure for 11th-16th level characters (optimized for 13th level)

Special thanks to Michael Potter for the Fantasy Grounds conversion!

Are there supposed to be any battlemaps with this? I have 36 pages with no grids/maps for any of the encounters.

Are there maps in VTT version and if so, is it possible to see a sample?

The gladiator stat block lists the damage for the spear as HIT: (112d6+4), so naturally I one shot all my players. Think you meant HIT: 11(2d6+4), haha.

On page 22, under tactics you recommend that the mind flayer arcanist cast greater invisibility on itself once the wall of force is dealt with. The mind flayer arcanist does not get greater invisibility in its spell list.
Also on page 21, O4. Making Haste does not provide a DC for the group Athletics or Nature check to get there in time.
Page 22, O6. Avoid Altering the Guards, contains typos in the following sentence: "If the adventures have failed all of the other obstacle,"
adventures should be adventurers and obstacle should be obstacles.

The .mod file is for Fantasy Grounds (a VTT). If you do not use Fantasy Grounds then you don't need the .mod file.

Great fun. Ran this around Halloween, players were very frightened. Invasion of the body snatchers feel. Was good fun

Scanned image
These products were created by scanning an original printed edition. Most older books are in scanned image format because original digital layout files never existed or were no longer available from the publisher.

For PDF download editions, each page has been run through Optical Character Recognition (OCR) software to attempt to decipher the printed text. The result of this OCR process is placed invisibly behind the picture of each scanned page, to allow for text searching. However, any text in a given book set on a graphical background or in handwritten fonts would most likely not be picked up by the OCR software, and is therefore not searchable. Also, a few larger books may be resampled to fit into the system, and may not have this searchable text background.

For printed books, we have performed high-resolution scans of an original hardcopy of the book. We essentially digitally re-master the book. Unfortunately, the resulting quality of these books is not as high. It's the problem of making a copy of a copy. The text is fine for reading, but illustration work starts to run dark, pixellating and/or losing shades of grey. Moiré patterns may develop in photos. We mark clearly which print titles come from scanned image books so that you can make an informed purchase decision about the quality of what you will receive.

Original electronic format
These ebooks were created from the original electronic layout files, and therefore are fully text searchable. Also, their file size tends to be smaller than scanned image books. Most newer books are in the original electronic format. Both download and print editions of such books should be high quality.
