The chef knocked the flour from his hands and greeted his newest customer. The blue skinned woman, whatever she may be, skipped inside and ordered the menu - the whole menu. Before he could even ask, a pouch near-to-bursting with gold thumped onto the countertop.

Shaking his head and grinning like a madman, the chef dutifully started to cover the counter with doughnuts, flakey pastries, candy, pies, and confectionary delights that even kings would be happy to see - spun sugar that looked like glass, marbled taffy with silver flake. Understandable was the chef's horror when a leathery bag was tossed onto the counter and the delights pushed inside - all of them. Dozens of plates worth of food put inside a bag no larger than a backpack, plates and all!

"Thank you for your sweets! Here... The Traveler watch over you!" the woman said, pulling a clean, crisp, folded sheet of parchment out of the same pocket that should have been filled with soft chocolate. "And it's not your fault," she whispered, "about the... bedroom problems. I can always tell!"

A Mighty Need: The Haversack is one of those items that is hard to visualize how it works on a sheet of notebook paper. Tracking items and weight and position - it's just a lot to deal with on your own.

Thoughful Layout: I took into account how the bag operates in the layout of this sheet. Two side pouches, a central pouch, plus strapping things to the side, the obligatory coin pouch - all of it where it should be to keep in mind what is where and why. You don't keep your smut and your pastries in the same pouch!

Form Fillable: Each section is form fillable with Adobe Acrobat, complete with simple computing for current weight - to help all of you online gamers keep track of your stuff as simply as possible. To prevent the sheet printing out "0"s or having annoying spots for those of you who don't care about tracking weight - the current load for each section displays above the items and in red to help you know when you hit your limit without being in the way when you print!

Updated Monthly: Every month I put out a survey with over 30 people who use the sheet weekly to get feedback. I make changes (sometimes subtle) and re-upload every time a change is made!

Critical Role Inspired - I had the fortune to speak with a certain cast member from the acclaimed D&D Livestream and suggested that making this sheet would help in one way or another. With that in mind, I made it have all that you have to have (including the rules for the item!) without going completely overboard. Plenty of room for doodles, notes, and praises for the Traveler!

Now this sheet here is a gem. The Bag of Holding's little brother the Haversack is chock full of super Critial Role touches showing how to utilize the sheet. It is designed to calculate what each section holds by the 5e rules so when setting it up it [...]

Scanned image
These products were created by scanning an original printed edition. Most older books are in scanned image format because original digital layout files never existed or were no longer available from the publisher.

For PDF download editions, each page has been run through Optical Character Recognition (OCR) software to attempt to decipher the printed text. The result of this OCR process is placed invisibly behind the picture of each scanned page, to allow for text searching. However, any text in a given book set on a graphical background or in handwritten fonts would most likely not be picked up by the OCR software, and is therefore not searchable. Also, a few larger books may be resampled to fit into the system, and may not have this searchable text background.

For printed books, we have performed high-resolution scans of an original hardcopy of the book. We essentially digitally re-master the book. Unfortunately, the resulting quality of these books is not as high. It's the problem of making a copy of a copy. The text is fine for reading, but illustration work starts to run dark, pixellating and/or losing shades of grey. Moiré patterns may develop in photos. We mark clearly which print titles come from scanned image books so that you can make an informed purchase decision about the quality of what you will receive.

Original electronic format
These ebooks were created from the original electronic layout files, and therefore are fully text searchable. Also, their file size tends to be smaller than scanned image books. Most newer books are in the original electronic format. Both download and print editions of such books should be high quality.
