Lost Mine of Goblins!

Join the Glorious Goblin Revolution!

For too long the bigger races have looked down upon the common goblin with contempt and hatred. Goblins have been attacked by adventurers, bullied by bugbears and enslaved by...something that begins with "E"! No longer, my goblin brethren! The time for our uprising has come, and the hunt for the Biggest Crown is on! All hail the goblin king! All hail the glorious goblin revolution!

Welcome to Lost Mine of Goblins! This is a slighly parodic take on the "Lost Mine of Phandelver" campaign that includes a pretty big twist: you are not playing your average adventurer but instead a group of goblins from the Cragmaw tribe, out to claim the Lost Mine and its treasures for themselves and kickstart the glorious revolution!
You will need a version of "Lost Mine of Phandelver" to play this campaign.

This document includes much new content: there are new rules for playing as goblin characters (of the forest goblin or cave goblin types) 7 new NPCs for your goblins to befriend (or, much more likely, face in battle), character rules for several of the NPCs from the original Lost Mine (Halia Thornton, Reidoth the Druid, Sister Garaele and Daran Edermath, the retired adventurer) and a lot of new information what life in and around Phandalin is like when you are a goblin. The campaign also gives you knowledge of what it means to be a goblin, tires to explain the hilarious chaos that is the goblin mindset, gives RP tips how to portray them effectively and finally helps out those DMs crazy enough to take up the challange of a full-goblin group. Murder and mayhem await!
Last but not least we have included a few suggestions for group battles, when your goblin player characters are leading others of their kind against the enemy and have added several playtest notes to notify DMs of how this campaign worked when we ran it at our table...and what kind of madness can ensue when goblins are in the center of attention!

We would love to hear your thoughts on the campaign. Please do not hesitate to reach out and let us know!

Very funny and well designed! I had a crazy idea for a one-shot and bought Lost Mine of Goblins for inspiration. Though I ended up not using anything, it was still fun to read and a great idea for a mini-campaign 'mondo reverso'! [...]

Scanned image
These products were created by scanning an original printed edition. Most older books are in scanned image format because original digital layout files never existed or were no longer available from the publisher.

For PDF download editions, each page has been run through Optical Character Recognition (OCR) software to attempt to decipher the printed text. The result of this OCR process is placed invisibly behind the picture of each scanned page, to allow for text searching. However, any text in a given book set on a graphical background or in handwritten fonts would most likely not be picked up by the OCR software, and is therefore not searchable. Also, a few larger books may be resampled to fit into the system, and may not have this searchable text background.

For printed books, we have performed high-resolution scans of an original hardcopy of the book. We essentially digitally re-master the book. Unfortunately, the resulting quality of these books is not as high. It's the problem of making a copy of a copy. The text is fine for reading, but illustration work starts to run dark, pixellating and/or losing shades of grey. Moiré patterns may develop in photos. We mark clearly which print titles come from scanned image books so that you can make an informed purchase decision about the quality of what you will receive.

Original electronic format
These ebooks were created from the original electronic layout files, and therefore are fully text searchable. Also, their file size tends to be smaller than scanned image books. Most newer books are in the original electronic format. Both download and print editions of such books should be high quality.
