About Mount Ogden Gaming Company

MOGC is a group of gamers that decided to jump in and take advantage of the CCC program offered by Wizards of the Coast. The adventures we create support the conventions we organize and participate in through the Rocky Mountain RPG Guild. We also work with Under the Wing Gaming who runs our social media campaigns and community outreach. Finally, yet importantly Raven+Moon Co. provides our layout and design when we want our modules to have that extra pop.

While we work with local authors, we also work with Guests of Honor and brand new authors looking to mark publishing a D&D adventure off their bucket list. We look for a diverse group of people in the D&D community globally to work with regardless of experience or background in the industry.

A 4-hour adventure for 1st-4th level characters (optimized for 3rd level)

Looks like a great adventure, but it is like a smile with a missing tooth. No cover? Not a big deal, it is just that having one in the series without a cover feels...weird.

Agreed that it's weird without a cover. When we get caught up on projects we may come back and pretty this one up.

A great continuation of the series story-wise, but please get someone to edit your mods. The use of "negations" for "negotiations" is done twice. There are also other small grammar and spelling issues which does make it hard to read. Since I was tasked with running the module for AL at our store, I read it all. Normally, such errors would cause me to stop reading.

On page 11 there is a small section of the template file remaining. This will be removed when I upload the updated file on the 16th.

Would it be possible to get bookmarks in the PDF file? Maybe a cert and cool color maps like in the first one, while you're at it, if that's doable.

Also is it supposed to not have an apostrophe in the title? It reads kind of weird cuz it doesn't make grammatical sense as is.

The missing apostrophe will be added back in when I update the Player Handout error noted above. Its omission was intentional on the cover, but being that it causes confusion I will add it back in.

Bookmarks will be added in the next revision and the Fantasy Grounds module will be added then too.

I blew the budget for art and maps all on Mace01-01. If we sale enough copies, I can look at having those upgraded.

Also, I have a request in for the cert file.

Scanned image
These products were created by scanning an original printed edition. Most older books are in scanned image format because original digital layout files never existed or were no longer available from the publisher.

For PDF download editions, each page has been run through Optical Character Recognition (OCR) software to attempt to decipher the printed text. The result of this OCR process is placed invisibly behind the picture of each scanned page, to allow for text searching. However, any text in a given book set on a graphical background or in handwritten fonts would most likely not be picked up by the OCR software, and is therefore not searchable. Also, a few larger books may be resampled to fit into the system, and may not have this searchable text background.

For printed books, we have performed high-resolution scans of an original hardcopy of the book. We essentially digitally re-master the book. Unfortunately, the resulting quality of these books is not as high. It's the problem of making a copy of a copy. The text is fine for reading, but illustration work starts to run dark, pixellating and/or losing shades of grey. Moiré patterns may develop in photos. We mark clearly which print titles come from scanned image books so that you can make an informed purchase decision about the quality of what you will receive.
Original electronic format
These ebooks were created from the original electronic layout files, and therefore are fully text searchable. Also, their file size tends to be smaller than scanned image books. Most newer books are in the original electronic format. Both download and print editions of such books should be high quality.
