I was ask to dm this and given a loaner copy. Feedback from my players. Why did the villain stick around after he did his job. Missing DCs and numbers hurt this. And I ended up blending Part 2, and 3. The players were divided on how big the ship was. And they were divided on "Finding the Rancor" Perception check. If you do think of drawing the map out it will be about 4 feet long. I used lots of 1 inch grid paper. 4 out 5.

It is a shame the potential gp reward in this is meaningless in season 8.
I know this was run a few times in the last week of season 7 by players wanting to cash in.

One funny moment. I started the mod by saying that I had zero naval or nautical experience, so I asked the players for forgiveness in advance for my butchering of the ship terminology.

It turned out that six of my seven players had served in the US Navy! But they were very nice to me.

GMs ONLY! To add variety and tension, and break up the combat of Part IV, I changed the fourth bullet point of Part IV to a skill challenge/co-op. The party, scattered all over the ship, had five rounds to get everything and get moving. In Round 2, a super-large wave washed over exposed parts of the ship -- DC 12 Str, or DC 16 if both hands full of awkward stuff (heh), or knocked prone and moved 10 feet. In Round 3, all characters who had never experienced such an event before had to make DC 11 Wisdom save or drop everything and lose their nerve (roleplaying opportunity -- "I should have kissed him when I had the chance!") Other PCs could use their action to grab a friend or snap them out of it. This section was glorious.

Is this supposed to be CCC-CIC-07? Or is 07 just not available yet?

CREATOR
No, CCC-CIC-07 Pieces of You hasn't been released yet. The conclusion of the trilogy started with CCC-CIC-04 Best Friends Forever and continued with CCC-CIC-05 Donum Vitae wraps up with CCC-CIC-07. It is waiting for a piece of art and should be released in the near future once that is received and layout can be completed.

Scanned image
These products were created by scanning an original printed edition. Most older books are in scanned image format because original digital layout files never existed or were no longer available from the publisher.

For PDF download editions, each page has been run through Optical Character Recognition (OCR) software to attempt to decipher the printed text. The result of this OCR process is placed invisibly behind the picture of each scanned page, to allow for text searching. However, any text in a given book set on a graphical background or in handwritten fonts would most likely not be picked up by the OCR software, and is therefore not searchable. Also, a few larger books may be resampled to fit into the system, and may not have this searchable text background.

For printed books, we have performed high-resolution scans of an original hardcopy of the book. We essentially digitally re-master the book. Unfortunately, the resulting quality of these books is not as high. It's the problem of making a copy of a copy. The text is fine for reading, but illustration work starts to run dark, pixellating and/or losing shades of grey. Moiré patterns may develop in photos. We mark clearly which print titles come from scanned image books so that you can make an informed purchase decision about the quality of what you will receive.

Original electronic format
These ebooks were created from the original electronic layout files, and therefore are fully text searchable. Also, their file size tends to be smaller than scanned image books. Most newer books are in the original electronic format. Both download and print editions of such books should be high quality.
