Epic Level Characters level 21-40

I'm still using this but I just downloaded the latest version. Did you do away with the epic spells? or did you create a different pdf for them?

Hi, I really love how well this is mainted, and you clearly take effort to cover every piece of official content there is.
That's why I though I'd let you know (if you haven't noticed yet), that in warlock Eldritch Invocation section, there seems to be a level 30 invocation unique to each patron (from Wings of Another for the Fiend, to Giving Patron for the Genie), but The Undead patron seems to be missing for some reason. I might use something like that one day, so I'd love to see it added. Thanks!

I have an idea for a metamagic to add with epic levels, in the next update:
Delay Spell
Prerequisite: Careful Spell Metamagic, Level 21 (Level 20)

You can cast spells that take effect after a short delay of your choosing. A delayed spell doesn't activate until a delay occurs, after you finish casting it. You determine the delay when casting the spell, and it cannot be changed once set. The delay has a maximum time limit of 6 rounds minus half the spells level (rounded down). The spell activates just before your turn on the round you designate. Only area, personal, and touch spells may be affected by this meta magic . Any decisions you would make about the spell, including attack rolls, designating targets, or determining or shaping an area, are decided when the spell is cast. Any effects resolved by those affected by the spell, including saving throws, are decided when the spell triggers. If conditions change between casting and effect in such a fashion as to make the spell impossible--...See more for example, the target you designate leaves the spell's maximum range before it goes off--the spell fails. A delayed spell may be dispelled normally during the delay, and can be detected normally in the area or on the target with spells such as detect magic. (The spell can be cast within a Time Stop, the effect activates immediately after the Time Stop ends.)

A delayed spell uses 3 extra sorcery points in addition to the sorcery point cost of its level.

Hey Bryan F! love what you are doing. i didn't read everyone's comment and i know you've warned us about artificer's lower power level but i couldnt but notice how the Artillerist got only 1 abillity buff while alchemist has 2 and battle smith 3.

Good news to all who have been waiting the Legendary levels content is soon to be released. Legendary levels is split between two products: Legendary Level Characters level 41-60 and The Blood Hunter Collection.
These products will be updated based on major changes to their parent documents which are required so please factor that in when you seek my documents. Thank you Paul for a baseline to follow and build from, to all who read this give Paul some love ($$$) as without his work the legendary levels document would not happen.

Improved Darkvision
Your Darkvision is now 240ft.

Improved Flight
Thanks to your wings, you have a flying speed equal to your walking speed. You can use medium armor, but it must be modified to allow you to fly with it on. Heavy armor still doesn’t allow you to fly even if modified.

Improved Silent Feathers
You have Expertise in the Stealth skill.

Hey Paul with the impending launch of Critical Roll call of the netherdeep... blood hunter and all Exandria stuff can be considered official even if it isn't in a book yet. (Don't worry I got it covered)

Would it be possible to add the Monster Hunter subclass for the fighter in a futur document?

For the Shadow Monk, the Greater Invisibility is a bit of a moot ability as Monks passively get Empty body which is essentially Greater Invis but it also gives you Resistance to the Melee damage types so I think maybe a useful change could be good? Maybe make it deal more damage if you're invisible or something among those lines?

For Bryan F. When are we going to see the legendary levels 41-60? Will It be soon? I'm really pumped up for those.

This will allow EPIC Level adventuring to work in Roll20:
1. Do not use Charactermancer to level up a 21st level class or more. See the following steps.
2. Set your level at the top of the Core page
3. Set the proficiency bonus on the top right of the gear section - "Custom" "#" ex. # = 6 for 21st Level
4. For Full Caster (Bard, Cleric, Druid, Sorcerer, Warlock, Wizard), set the Custom Class & Spell Slot Modifiers as appropriate on the bottom left of the Gear page. Fill in data for Custom Class & Full Caster, and then set Spell Slot Modifers. Play with the settings until it spell slots show correctly on Spell page.
5. For EPIC Spells, load manually in the 9th Level Spells on the Spells Page
6. For the Spell Name, use (1) EPIC: Hellball (example). EPIC is to avoid confusion with 9th Level spells. (1) is how many times you can cast a spell per long rest.
7. For Attack spells like Hellball, set Spellcasting Ability to "Spell", Output...See more "Attack" and the rest of the settings as normal.
8. For NPCs, make sure Spellcasting ability is set. Ex. Spellcasting Ability: Intelligence
9. In the Features & Traits section of the Core page, load EPIC features & EPIC Feats copied manually
10. Calculate your hit points (average) and load these manually
11. For Less than Full Casters, you’ll set your Non-EPIC spells from the primary rules PDF as listed for EPIC spells above. Each class gets 6th – 9th Level spells from basic rules (will work as normal)
12. Set non-proficiency saving throws on Gear page to half of proficiency bonus.

These are last of my play balance recommendations for spells:
Mass Power Word, Kill - range 120 feet & just 3 creatures.
Lady Claisa's - Range 30 feet, remove +10 rule on concentration.
Guarantee of Fates, Lucky: Concentration, Up to 1 minute
Aegis of Ages: Duration: 1 hour, +4 AC

Paul, I think you've done a wonderful job on this!! I love your attention to detail.
I've been playtesting a bit and I have a couple of suggestions:
Rune Knight - EPIC level Runes Known (normal progression) & a few EPIC Runes
Improved Sneak Attack - "See Chart Above" (confusion/errors in original)
For my own campaign, I'm not going to add Non-EPIC Invocations (5e is very balanced, hate to mess with that).
Wizard EPIC Signature Spell - "40th Level"
For my own campaign, not going to use Non-EPIC Feats (5e is very balanced, just don't want to mess with that).
Acquire Magic Secrets - only one secret acquired. Reapplication of spell replaces the old acquired secret (play balance)
Control Monster - Range 120 feet
Concentration of Algmar: # of spells/level: 25: 2, 30: 3, & 35: 4
Temporal Skip & Temporal Travel - Waaay Overpowered. Nerf this more or eliminate them.
Non-EPIC Artificier, Ranger & Paladin: these...See more are in a sense EPIC spells, I think they are fine.
Recommend a Roll20 supplement:
1. Do not use Charactermancer (all actions manual)
2. Set Level on Top of Core page
3. Set proficiency bonus on Gear page: "Custom # [6 at 21st]"
4. For Full Casters: Use Custom Class on Gear Page: ex."Cleric, D8, Wisdom, Spell Slots: Full"
5. Then modify Spell Slot Modifiers below this section, as appropriate to make Spell page slots show correctly.
6. For EPIC Spells, load manually in the 9th Level Spells on the Spells Page: ex. "EPIC: Hellball"
7. In the Features & Traits section of the Core page, load EPIC features copied manually from the primary rules PDF
8. Calculate HP and load these manually
9. Less than Full Casters: Load Non-EPIC spells manually, similar to EPIC spells above
10. Set non-proficiency saving throws on Gear page to half of proficiency bonus.
