Catalogue of Calamity

Catalogue of Calamity is a collection of adventures for Dungeons & Dragons 5th Edition by writer Travis Legge.

Within this collection, you will find four previously released adventures, reformatted & remastered for consistency.

This compendium also contains printer friendly versions with no background texture on the pages (though the included maps will still be very ink-heavy)

Adventures in this collection are suitable for characters of tiers 1-3. There is something for everyone in the Catalogue of Calamity!

Catalogue of Calamity includes:

Cottage on the Long Road

Cottage on the Long Road is an introductory adventure for 1st - 3rd level characters. Within these pages, you will meet Criella, a Tiefling woman who has saved her copper pieces over years of service to a knight in order to purchase a small farm and raise sheep in peaceful solitude. Disturbances at her home send her to the nearby roadside inn known as the Dashing Satyr, to seek safe haven and the aid of any adventurous soul who is willing to listen to her plight.

Mutants of the Vast Swamp

Mutants of the Vast Swamp: For levels 2-4. Near the western edge of the Vast Swamp, a star has fallen from the sky. This miraculous and terrifying event was seen by many across Faerûn, and astronomers from numerous traditions toiled vigorously to calculate the portents the rare omen foretold.  It is left up to the adventurers to venture into the Vast Swamp in order to discover the truth of this amazing celestial event.

Squatters at Keystone Keep

Squatters at Keystone Keep is an adventure for characters of levels 5-8. It is designed be dropped into your campaign with a minimum of effort. Rather than being a detailed, linear presentation, this booklet presents a location known as Keystone Keep, which can be inserted into any campaign setting. Game statistics and biographies for the Keep's inhabitants, as well as a number of story seeds are included in this booklet.

Terror in Krezk

Terror in Krezk explores a scenario in which the newly freed lands of Barovia become infested by an Illithid colony. These alien creatures quickly set up a base of operations in western Barovia, on the banks of the Raven River. The Illithid and their servants soon begin feeding on the residents of nearby Krezk, and once again tales of terror and monsters begin to spread across Barovia. Terror in Krezk is an adventure for characters of levels 10 - 15

Also included in this collection is a .pdf detailing several of my other products, twitch streams, community content opportunities, and stock art available through Aegis Studios

Scanned image
These products were created by scanning an original printed edition. Most older books are in scanned image format because original digital layout files never existed or were no longer available from the publisher.

For PDF download editions, each page has been run through Optical Character Recognition (OCR) software to attempt to decipher the printed text. The result of this OCR process is placed invisibly behind the picture of each scanned page, to allow for text searching. However, any text in a given book set on a graphical background or in handwritten fonts would most likely not be picked up by the OCR software, and is therefore not searchable. Also, a few larger books may be resampled to fit into the system, and may not have this searchable text background.

For printed books, we have performed high-resolution scans of an original hardcopy of the book. We essentially digitally re-master the book. Unfortunately, the resulting quality of these books is not as high. It's the problem of making a copy of a copy. The text is fine for reading, but illustration work starts to run dark, pixellating and/or losing shades of grey. Moiré patterns may develop in photos. We mark clearly which print titles come from scanned image books so that you can make an informed purchase decision about the quality of what you will receive.
Original electronic format
These ebooks were created from the original electronic layout files, and therefore are fully text searchable. Also, their file size tends to be smaller than scanned image books. Most newer books are in the original electronic format. Both download and print editions of such books should be high quality.
