Five landscape 8.5"x11" pages of tables I use for my DM screen.

PAGE ONE:

  • Conditions: Blinded, Charmed, Deafened, etc.
  • Special Types of Movement: Climbing, Falling, Jumping, etc.
  • Falling Distances: A little bit of math incorporating terminal velocity to see how far you fall in certain amounts of time
  • Mounted Combat
  • Underwater Combat

PAGE TWO:

  • Weapons: Includes all the regular weapons plus the firearms from the DMG
  • Armor: Includes all the regular armor plus a few of my own homebrew items such as the armored coat, brigandine, buckler shield, and tower shield
  • Cover
  • Obscured Areas
  • Travel Pace
  • Levels of Exhaustion

PAGE THREE:

  • Combat Actions: Attack, Cast a Spell, Dash, Disengage, etc.
  • Special Attacks: Disarm, Grappling, Opportunity Attacks, Unseen Attackers, etc.

PAGE FOUR:

  • Expensive Material Components: A list of spells (not updated since XGtE) that have components that cost 100gp or more
  • Spell Scrolls: Rules on reading and copying spell scrolls
  • Scroll Mishaps: A variant rule I use for failing to use a spell scroll that's of a level higher than you can cast
  • Concentration: How does anyone function without this on their DM screen?
  • Potions of Healing: How much they heal and cost
  • Potion Miscibility: Variant DMG rule on mixing potions we use

PAGE FIVE:

  • Massive Damage: We use this DMG variant rule with a little homebrew flair that allows players to choose between System Shock or Lingering Injuries when they receive or deal massive damage
  • System Shock: Table related to Massive Damage
  • Lingering Injuries: Table related to Massive Damage
  • Weather: Otherwise I'd forget to describe the weather
  • Extreme Weather and Wilderness Hazards: Extreme Cold, Extreme Heat, Ice, etc.
  • Trap Save DCs & Attack Bonuses
  • Damage Severity By Level
  • Object Armor Class
  • Chases DMG page reference
  • Poisons DMG page reference

Indeed, this is for the table trigger-happy.

Clicked on 'Full-Size Preview' to view, but Adobe said file was corrupted, so I couldn't open it. Please investigate because this looks interesting & I've already purchased 2 other of your fine works... scroll & potion creation.
Thank you.

Have you considered doing portrait versions? I have a 4 panel Stratagem screen which allows 4 sheets of letter sized on the front (players can use too) and 4 sheets of letter sized on the back. You have already consolidated a lot of good information. It'd be nice to have it in the other (portrait) orientation.

I knew someone would ask eventually...yes I've considered it, just never worked up to doing it. But I'll put it on the to-do list! Thank you for commenting.

Scanned image
These products were created by scanning an original printed edition. Most older books are in scanned image format because original digital layout files never existed or were no longer available from the publisher.

For PDF download editions, each page has been run through Optical Character Recognition (OCR) software to attempt to decipher the printed text. The result of this OCR process is placed invisibly behind the picture of each scanned page, to allow for text searching. However, any text in a given book set on a graphical background or in handwritten fonts would most likely not be picked up by the OCR software, and is therefore not searchable. Also, a few larger books may be resampled to fit into the system, and may not have this searchable text background.

For printed books, we have performed high-resolution scans of an original hardcopy of the book. We essentially digitally re-master the book. Unfortunately, the resulting quality of these books is not as high. It's the problem of making a copy of a copy. The text is fine for reading, but illustration work starts to run dark, pixellating and/or losing shades of grey. Moiré patterns may develop in photos. We mark clearly which print titles come from scanned image books so that you can make an informed purchase decision about the quality of what you will receive.

Original electronic format
These ebooks were created from the original electronic layout files, and therefore are fully text searchable. Also, their file size tends to be smaller than scanned image books. Most newer books are in the original electronic format. Both download and print editions of such books should be high quality.
