Rob T, you can ignore my message below. Took a leap and bought the sounds mod and got it going. Seems to be working fine with my setup. I would still be curious though about the pricing of your other stuff regarding bundles (what the cost of a bundle would be if I had already purchased some items individually). Is it set up to subtract the cost of the content already purchased, or should I just by the individual stuff I don't have? Thanks. Your products are great! Great time savers.

ThanX for the support. Unfortunately, DMs Guild does not offer "packages" as DrivethruRPG does. So if you buy something and then later but a package containing that item, there is no discount. I wish that was their policy, and maybe in the future, it will be?

To Rob T (the creator), I bought the above package a while back (Fantasy Grounds 5E Coding Package). If I buy your "complete" package, is there a way to receive a discounted price since I already payed for 4 or the packages included, or am I better off buying the remaining packages that I don't have separately? Also, for your sounds package, I see it says its great for sound for player and GM, but then I see it only plays "locally" unless the buyer creates a workaround. I have FG Ultimate and Syrinscape (creators bundle I believe) and I use teamspeak and have set it up to pipe syrinscape through to the players. If I use your Sound package, do you think my setup will pipe everything through to the players (Such as if I have an NPC cast a spell, would they hear the spell sound effect on their end, or would just I hear it, and vice versa, if they cast a spell on their end would it sound on my end)? I have successfully created links in FG (put a pin on a map that triggers a sound in Syrinscape...See more

There is SLIGHT crossover but they are used in ENTIRELY different manners. One is mainly for NPCs in the combat tracker (Conditions and effects) all the other coding packages are used for PC sheets.

Thanks for the speedy reply! I purchased this, conditions & effects, and the items coding. It's so nice to be able to pay someone to do a thing you don't want to/could never do yourself! I can't wait to put them to use in my games. Just wish I had known about these much earlier, would've prevented some headaches.

It talks about it in the notes in the instructions. It cannot be coded because FG doesn't know which level you will choose to cast. So that has to be coded manually on a case by case basis.

Ah...that's a bummer, since I'm not great at coding. I understand the issue and can *sort of* imagine what it would take to code it, I guess. Isn't it sort of similar to what happens with resistance to specific types of damage, where you could have an editable field where I could type in the level? I don't have FG at my disposal right now to try it out, unfortunately.

Hey, Rob, I have a question. I've been running two campaigns on FG. PCs are already at 4th and 7th lvl. In order to apply the spell, class and racial effects I would have to remake all characters? Regards from Brazil!

Codes are applied to individual PCs, so you could remake them, but if you export the PC and transfer it to another FG table, the codes will go with it.

I love this 5 stars. I have created items with effects but I love drag and drop. FYI:I may be doing something wrong but wands of magic missle, fireball and lightning do not show any "effects" just number of uses. Is this intentional. I can fix it myself after dragged over. Just tinkering around now.

ThanX for the nice comments. Yeah, the wands are intentional because you would use the coding for those spells, so with the wand of fireballs, you would have the coding for the wand AND the spell.

I appreciate you clearing that up for me. I now have a different question about cleric turn undead class feature. It does not have an If undead turn ect. nominclature. I tried turning some undead and a bear. Bear was turned also. I can tell player "you can not target that creature, it's not undead" but I like to keep them guessing. Is their a syntax I can use to only apply effect to undead targets? Thanks, again but your stuff is so good I think I am getting lazy. Automate, Automate... Hail to the great Rob "Automate".

James, unfortunately, the IFT functionality doesn't work with conditions, so what you're asking for cannot be automated.

John I do updates periodically but when I do you must download the updates. Check within the module for the story entry that says ”Updates” for instructions.

Actually Joseph, yes there is... Since DMs Guild doesn't notify people of updates (yet?) like DrivethruRPG does, I have a list of updates on my Discord server. The URL is https://discord.gg/FVgtecr - just go there and click on #dms-guild-updates and you will see up to the minute what I have updated. Regarding your question about MToF, I have ALREADY COMPLETED everything except the monster tables and random encounter generator. Those are next.

Jonathan, as new WotC books come out, I update all my products. I usually raise the price a little higher when I do, but anyone that already has it would, of course, get updates for free.

Huge fan of the modules, it has made life easy for my players. The Ranger:Fighting style (archery) has a ':' instead of a ';' and the effect was not applying. Same class escape the horde has an extra 'a' in horde for the description in the combat tracker. Keep up the good work!

So one of my group recently bought the mod. We noticed an issue with War Caster. We did manage to get it working correctly with a minor change. I wanted to let you know in case you wanted to update it. If you change constitution to concentration and expend to never, it works as it should. Here is the syntax we used.

War Caster; ADVSAV: concentration

This way it rolls only for concentration checks and not all constitution saving throws.

I am seriously wanting to get this since I'm just starting a new campaign and was wondering about the demo you did where the concentration is roll when the caster takes damage. I know that FG already makes this roll and a different light concentration module caused FG to roll twice. Does your module work where it will only roll once?

My coding does not affect the concentrations rolls. FG rolls as it should. That's the entire point of my codings.

I have set up a Warlock with Hex spell as in your video but the Disadvantage effect doesn't seem to work, we typed in 'dexterity' as you did.
Hexblade Curse, does the 3rd effect give the increased critical range? I dont follow the code, and our testing didn't work.
What does the SHIFT key do?

Extra, we were testing on Player characters, we tried on a rat and the GM screen worked for both. So does it not work on PCs? (why would it, well my players can be bastids)

These products were created by scanning an original printed edition. Most older books are in scanned image format because original digital layout files never existed or were no longer available from the publisher.

For PDF download editions, each page has been run through Optical Character Recognition (OCR) software to attempt to decipher the printed text. The result of this OCR process is placed invisibly behind the picture of each scanned page, to allow for text searching. However, any text in a given book set on a graphical background or in handwritten fonts would most likely not be picked up by the OCR software, and is therefore not searchable. Also, a few larger books may be resampled to fit into the system, and may not have this searchable text background.

For printed books, we have performed high-resolution scans of an original hardcopy of the book. We essentially digitally re-master the book. Unfortunately, the resulting quality of these books is not as high. It's the problem of making a copy of a copy. The text is fine for reading, but illustration work starts to run dark, pixellating and/or losing shades of grey. Moiré patterns may develop in photos. We mark clearly which print titles come from scanned image books so that you can make an informed purchase decision about the quality of what you will receive.
Original electronic format
These ebooks were created from the original electronic layout files, and therefore are fully text searchable. Also, their file size tends to be smaller than scanned image books. Most newer books are in the original electronic format. Both download and print editions of such books should be high quality.
