Doesn't this product violate the DM's Guild Rules on artwork?
(from the FAQ)

Can I duplicate/redraw existing D&D maps from any edition?
Duplicated maps, including maps recreated in different art styles, can only be published on Dungeon Masters Guild if they directly support another adventure or supplement. They cannot be the primary product. If you write an adventure that takes places in a location from an existing D&D adventure, you can include redrawn maps of that location. You cannot publish the redrawn maps as an independent map pack. For example, if your adventure is set in Luskan, you can include redrawn maps of the city and nearby locations; however, you cannot publish those redrawn maps as a separate map pack or stock art.

Hi, this compilation was posted before that rule went into effect. The people in charge decided to let available products stay if they were published before the rules change. I never published maps like these after those rules changed.

So is this a bundle of all your maps of the Sword Coast, but excludes Phlan, Whitehorn, & Ylraphon because they are elsewhere in Faerûn, right? And the Fantastic Locations are generic? Just trying to figure out everything out ahead of some purchasing, since DMsGuild doesn't offer the nice (& more forgiving) bundling options of its sister sites.

Hello, sorry for answering this late. I didn't see/get this notification. As you mention, yes, it only includes the locations on the sword coast, plus chult. The full list of settlements included is in the product description.

All of the maps are made by me, I go by the handle Elven Tower, like my website. My name is Derek Ruiz.

Well done, and thank you for the wonderful work! On a different note altogether, I have to admit that, because I had the font on my monitor set too small, I completely misread your last name as "Rulz". So, I thought to myself, "Derek 'Rules!' is the most motivational name ever, well on you mate!" I realize my mistake now, but I want you to know that I think your work has earned you the name regardless. This is much appreciated!

I appreciate the sentiment! Maybe I should legally change my name to that. Greetings.

Rules Edition(s)
Original electronic
Scanned image
These products were created by scanning an original printed edition. Most older books are in scanned image format because original digital layout files never existed or were no longer available from the publisher.

For PDF download editions, each page has been run through Optical Character Recognition (OCR) software to attempt to decipher the printed text. The result of this OCR process is placed invisibly behind the picture of each scanned page, to allow for text searching. However, any text in a given book set on a graphical background or in handwritten fonts would most likely not be picked up by the OCR software, and is therefore not searchable. Also, a few larger books may be resampled to fit into the system, and may not have this searchable text background.

For printed books, we have performed high-resolution scans of an original hardcopy of the book. We essentially digitally re-master the book. Unfortunately, the resulting quality of these books is not as high. It's the problem of making a copy of a copy. The text is fine for reading, but illustration work starts to run dark, pixellating and/or losing shades of grey. Moiré patterns may develop in photos. We mark clearly which print titles come from scanned image books so that you can make an informed purchase decision about the quality of what you will receive.
Original electronic format
These ebooks were created from the original electronic layout files, and therefore are fully text searchable. Also, their file size tends to be smaller than scanned image books. Most newer books are in the original electronic format. Both download and print editions of such books should be high quality.
