Druid Circle: The Spiritlord

ADD TO WISHLIST >

MASTER THE ETERNAL POWERS OF THE JUNGLE

Long before the outsiders had brought their "trickster gods" into Chult, there were druids who worshipped and harnessed the powers of the jungle's true masters. These elemental and primordial spirits of creation reside in every rock, tree, and breath of air, controlling the ebb and flow of the world.

Striving to bring balance back to their shattered world, these druids channel the essence of this eternal spirit realm, taking up the mantle of the Spiritlord to banish the forces of darkness and oblivion.

This supplement contains:

  • A brief history and background of Spirit Worship in Chult
  • The Circle of the Spiritlord character option for the Druid class
  • Adventure ideas and three new monsters: the Briarvex, the Howler, and the Rot Harbinger.

This supplement was created by Rich Lescouflair and Ruty Rutenberg for the DM's Guild Adepts line of products. It is inspired by the Spritlords class kit in the original 1993 Jungles of Chult setting book.

I don't believe this has been edited or proofread as I found 2 spelling mistakes and 4 punctuation errors in the sample piece supplied. Please have an independent set of eyes look over this.

Hi, Ken. This actually had been gone through, but it is possible that it might have missed a second viewing after one of the sections was replaced. You, as a contributor to DM's Guild, should already know that this can happen. I'll make sure it gets eyes on it one more time and fix the bugs. Thanks for bringing it to my attention.

It needs to be reviewed first by AL admins before it can be considered to be AL legal. Once that happens, I'll be sure to let everyone know!

Scanned image
These products were created by scanning an original printed edition. Most older books are in scanned image format because original digital layout files never existed or were no longer available from the publisher.

For PDF download editions, each page has been run through Optical Character Recognition (OCR) software to attempt to decipher the printed text. The result of this OCR process is placed invisibly behind the picture of each scanned page, to allow for text searching. However, any text in a given book set on a graphical background or in handwritten fonts would most likely not be picked up by the OCR software, and is therefore not searchable. Also, a few larger books may be resampled to fit into the system, and may not have this searchable text background.

For printed books, we have performed high-resolution scans of an original hardcopy of the book. We essentially digitally re-master the book. Unfortunately, the resulting quality of these books is not as high. It's the problem of making a copy of a copy. The text is fine for reading, but illustration work starts to run dark, pixellating and/or losing shades of grey. Moiré patterns may develop in photos. We mark clearly which print titles come from scanned image books so that you can make an informed purchase decision about the quality of what you will receive.

Original electronic format
These ebooks were created from the original electronic layout files, and therefore are fully text searchable. Also, their file size tends to be smaller than scanned image books. Most newer books are in the original electronic format. Both download and print editions of such books should be high quality.
