The temple lay just ahead, and within the answers to a great many questions about the recent goings on in Port Nyanzaru.

The journey here has been long and arduous and hopefully soon at an end. Leave your trepidations at the door; there’s exploring to be done!

Liked the adventure (especially the boss fight), but I felt like Wadumu didn't have a good enough motivation to betray the party. To me it seems to come out of nowhere. 4/5.

This was an interesting adventure to run at Kumoricon 2017. It opened up a few opportunities to explore Yuan-ti culture/religion and lore more. This was a well written module I believe and my players had so much fun that they were willing to stay at fight the hoard of undead. Unfortunately due to time constraints I had to end it early. Very simple, and straight-forward adventure to run tho.

My party enjoyed it, and managed to avoid TPK. They were not pleased with Wadumu's behavior at the end, managed to put a crossbow bolt in his back, and now they're following the blood trail into the jungle. This is not going to end well, and I have lot of plot lines to tie up next session.

A great module. High pressure puzzle solving and a taste of legendary actions for newer players. Skipping from 07-03 to this module is recommended if you only have time to run two of the three 2-hour tier-1 modules from this season.

5/5 this one was great to DM, really kept the players on edge throughout the entire adventure. very challenging fights if done properly. there is real potential for character death if the NPCs act the way they are meant to

I liked the riddle aspect of the module. My players solved it pretty easily but they enjoyed it nonetheless. Wadumu's motivation to leave the characters didn't make a ton of sense. He'd been nothing but helpful and with the boss dead, he'd got what he wanted anyway. It might have just been poor effort on my part as DM but it just felt like it turned into a bit of slog between the ability checks and managing combat rounds when more enemies would get added. Adventure can go quite quick if players solve the puzzle quickly.

I agree - it makes sense for Wadumu to leave, but not for him to be a jerk about it.

Very tough module for some. This can easily stretch out to a 6-8 hour session if players mess up. Avoiding spoilers, this starts to get out of the t1 mindset that DnD is all fun and games, slaughtering fighting bandits.

Ran it 2 times at GamerCon and really enjoyed it, although I did add a few things:
--Made the obelisk buttons have a timer so they had to spread out at the various pedestals so when the plants attacked, the party was spread out.
--Played up the retreat with zombies falling out of the ceiling every round, a climb check to get up the waterfall, falling rocks causing damage, and recovering snake-eye diamonds rather while dodging rocks falling from ceiling. A good lesson in knowing when to fight and when to run.

Best adventure of the trilogy! Loved the riddles, my players even forgot the right order of the buttons and activated the monolith trap! Too bad one of the characters died for an unlucky critical by the YMC... really enjoyed the last part of the module, with the boss giving a hard time to the characters and the final escape.

I really enjoyed running this module. Easily my favorite of the Tier I ToA adventures. The betrayal at the end got quite a reaction from my players.

Cute adventure with a nice riddle before the boss. Maybe I would have changed only the power of the boss.

This module claimed the first PC's life in my group, to a creature in the puzzle section near the obelisk. Good adventure. I softened it a little bit by giving them a short rest between the puzzle and downstairs. I didn't need a TPK that day.

I really enjoyed running this and playing this module. The traps were fun, the riddles were fairly simple, and the sneaky boss is lots of fun especially if you don't have a ranger in the group! One of the few that is fairly safe to make in the time allotted.

Deadly. Really Hard. Dangerous. I love it.
Only one advice: Wadumu don't seem to be so "evil" like u described him in the appropriate section, it's more selfish than evil

Scanned image
These products were created by scanning an original printed edition. Most older books are in scanned image format because original digital layout files never existed or were no longer available from the publisher.

For PDF download editions, each page has been run through Optical Character Recognition (OCR) software to attempt to decipher the printed text. The result of this OCR process is placed invisibly behind the picture of each scanned page, to allow for text searching. However, any text in a given book set on a graphical background or in handwritten fonts would most likely not be picked up by the OCR software, and is therefore not searchable. Also, a few larger books may be resampled to fit into the system, and may not have this searchable text background.

For printed books, we have performed high-resolution scans of an original hardcopy of the book. We essentially digitally re-master the book. Unfortunately, the resulting quality of these books is not as high. It's the problem of making a copy of a copy. The text is fine for reading, but illustration work starts to run dark, pixellating and/or losing shades of grey. Moiré patterns may develop in photos. We mark clearly which print titles come from scanned image books so that you can make an informed purchase decision about the quality of what you will receive.

Original electronic format
These ebooks were created from the original electronic layout files, and therefore are fully text searchable. Also, their file size tends to be smaller than scanned image books. Most newer books are in the original electronic format. Both download and print editions of such books should be high quality.
