Suggested Price $2.50

It's dangerous to go alone. Any adventurer knows that, that's why you take a weapon.

But perhaps not just any old weapon will do. Maybe you need something unique, or fanciful, or covert, or dramatic.

Maybe you need to assassinate a mark with a hidden wrist-blade. Perhaps you’re looking to get into a dust-up with your trusty brass knuckles. Could be you just want to unload a salvo of pointy-arrowed death out of the mouth of a repeating crossbow.

The Expanded and Exotic Weapons ruleset includes 27 new weapons for your enjoyment, as well as new weapon properties, mechanics, and even a small collection of exotic magic weapons.

Whatever character-defining, weapon-based motif you’re looking for, chances are you’ll find it here. Well-imagined, fully balanced, and ready to play.

Do you have your products in Fantasy Ground modules by chance? Or is it something that is possible?

Hey, I absolutely love these weapons! They are flavorful and well thought out. I'm just curious. If you take the feat for exotic weapons, is it intended that they can be used as monk weapons.

Text under the third paragraph of EXOTIC WEAPONS:
"Once proficiency is gained, however, the exotic weapon may be used for class features such as a monk's Martial Arts, a warlock's Pact of the Blade, or similar."

One my friends who was reading through the list noticed that in the print safe version version lists the damage of the Heavy Repeating Crossbow as 1d4 bludgeoning instead of the 1d10 piercing that it is listed as in the regular version.

Nice catch! Yes, that's definitely an error, and the 1d10 piercing is the correct value.

I'm updating the printsafe PDF right now.

Question; when using the guardian's blades, does the 15 temporary HP stack with itslef? For example, if you somehow went an entire day without taking damage, would you have 30 temporary HP at the next dawn?

Love all your content by the way. Found out about you through your oath of the common man paladin, which is just incredible.

As a rule, temporary HP doesn't stack, period. Whenever you have tHP and gain a new source of tHP, you have a choice of either keeping the tHP you have, or replacing it with the tHP you're getting.

And thanks! I'm going to be including the Common Man paladin in a subclass compendium in the next few months!

Pretty good stuff, I really like the repeating crossbows!

One question what is the special feature of the Sword Sheath?

Agggggg, that's another one I removed the special feature from, but forgot to take it off the item entry itself!

It originally was that the sheath and the sword it was paired with could be drawn as a single object interaction, but the rules are vague enough that you can do this anyway without a special property for it.

What is the khopesh's special feature?

Aha! I see what you mean.

It shouldn't have one. It had a special feature in a previous draft, but I took it out to streamline it.

The error has been fixed, and the khopesh is now without properties.

Thanks. Out of curiosity, what was the special property it used to have?

Love your stuff, by the way.

It got an extra d4 on a critical hit, to represent how a khopesh is really good at taking off a limb.

Which, on second look, wasn't necessary. An axe has about the same utility in that department, and it doesn't need a special property to illustrate it.

Also: Thanks! Glad you like my stuff. =D

Scanned image
These products were created by scanning an original printed edition. Most older books are in scanned image format because original digital layout files never existed or were no longer available from the publisher.

For PDF download editions, each page has been run through Optical Character Recognition (OCR) software to attempt to decipher the printed text. The result of this OCR process is placed invisibly behind the picture of each scanned page, to allow for text searching. However, any text in a given book set on a graphical background or in handwritten fonts would most likely not be picked up by the OCR software, and is therefore not searchable. Also, a few larger books may be resampled to fit into the system, and may not have this searchable text background.

For printed books, we have performed high-resolution scans of an original hardcopy of the book. We essentially digitally re-master the book. Unfortunately, the resulting quality of these books is not as high. It's the problem of making a copy of a copy. The text is fine for reading, but illustration work starts to run dark, pixellating and/or losing shades of grey. Moiré patterns may develop in photos. We mark clearly which print titles come from scanned image books so that you can make an informed purchase decision about the quality of what you will receive.

Original electronic format
These ebooks were created from the original electronic layout files, and therefore are fully text searchable. Also, their file size tends to be smaller than scanned image books. Most newer books are in the original electronic format. Both download and print editions of such books should be high quality.
