I was looking for a way to include Airships in the campaign I'm DM'ing for. This is exactly what I've been looking for. While I was not looking to include aerial combat as part of the story, I'm pretty sure it will get derailed enough that it'll happen. Isn't that always the case?

It is well-written (any typos and mistakes are being addressed, as I'm told), well-segmented and it is very easy to find what you're looking for. The document is incredibly detailed; to the tiniest thing which I, personally, did not think would be required to consider. Case-in-point: the Scrying Spells, which as I understand is a "radar" of magical function.

The example provided helps visualise the implementation of the rules written within the document.

I definitely recommend this to anyone who wants to include airships, even in the most minimal capacity.

Hey! Thanks for the kind words ^^

I'm sorry I saw the comment just now, but appears the resident notification squad was on booze break or something.

Going to place this here as I don't have any other way to contact you. Interesting read and I can see ways that this could be effectively used in a game but there are a number of errors within the document that needs addressing.

Firstly, there are a number of typo errors that could do with someone, other than yourself, going through this and fixing (becomes annoying reading and seeing typos ... throws off momentum). Secondly, there is no WotC Legal text within this that contravenes their legal requirements to publish within the guild ... this needs to be added quickly before it is pulled down. Next, the appearance of the DMG Logo, though not required (legally) should really appear on the from cover. Lastly, a Credits (Editor, Proofreader, Playtester, Art, Layout, whatever else you can think of) area would be nice, including how to contact you (email address) should anyone need to (saves on the embarrassing comments within this section if an email address is included).

I know this was...See more

Flip! I wrote this a few months ago, before adopting a standard format that has the "Legal stuff" by default at the end so probably it just slipped me because it's a thing I always put.
Gonna fix it asap ^_^

Rules Edition(s)
Original electronic
Scanned image
These products were created by scanning an original printed edition. Most older books are in scanned image format because original digital layout files never existed or were no longer available from the publisher.

For PDF download editions, each page has been run through Optical Character Recognition (OCR) software to attempt to decipher the printed text. The result of this OCR process is placed invisibly behind the picture of each scanned page, to allow for text searching. However, any text in a given book set on a graphical background or in handwritten fonts would most likely not be picked up by the OCR software, and is therefore not searchable. Also, a few larger books may be resampled to fit into the system, and may not have this searchable text background.

For printed books, we have performed high-resolution scans of an original hardcopy of the book. We essentially digitally re-master the book. Unfortunately, the resulting quality of these books is not as high. It's the problem of making a copy of a copy. The text is fine for reading, but illustration work starts to run dark, pixellating and/or losing shades of grey. Moiré patterns may develop in photos. We mark clearly which print titles come from scanned image books so that you can make an informed purchase decision about the quality of what you will receive.
Original electronic format
These ebooks were created from the original electronic layout files, and therefore are fully text searchable. Also, their file size tends to be smaller than scanned image books. Most newer books are in the original electronic format. Both download and print editions of such books should be high quality.
