Not a clue why my review shows up strangely in the reviews section but all in all 2.5/5

review written here too for clarity (I know some people don't click the review tabs)

Before going on I'll say I know these are archetypes translated from 3rd edition, but this is going to be coming from a 5e standpoint with over 5000hrs played/DM'd in 5e so far. I'll start from the beginning...

Barbarians:
- King/Queen of the Wild: On the weak side, especially when compared to current iterations of barbarians and rangers which this seems to be pulling from. Not particularly special seeming or more interesting than other barbarian types.
- Stonelord: On the weaker side as well. The resistances are nice and I understand the idea behind the being hard to get away from but other things do this better and with more flare. Also the level 14 ability is sort of terrible.

Bards::
- Dirgesinger: Interesting, useful, and fills a gap that bards are currently missing...See more

Hi Robert,

Thanks for your feedback! I'm having the same trouble seeing the full text on mobile, but fortunately I *can* see the full text through my account page.

I had more than a few places where I made tweaks/nerfs/buffs and I'm feeling the irony that many of them are where you pinpointed. I shouldn't have overthought it!

I'll be going back through and making corrections/adjustments to some of the classes this evening (CST). Hope you'll have a chance to check the updated version!

Update here! I've just uploaded V1.1, taking your and other feedback into account. Not every class you disliked was changed; there are some areas where I either disagree or will await feedback from others. There are certainly a few of the archetypes where I made tentative changes, but may make stronger revisions as needed.

The full changelog for 1.1 can be found at the end of the new document, for comparison, if you want a quick guide to which items were changed.

Hope you have an opportunity to look over the new version, and thanks again for your feedback!

The changes look like solid improvements for sure. My group went over it together and still think that some of the other things I pointed out should be addressed, but on the whole this certainly increased the interest and play-ability of many of these archetypes!

Thanks for the quick changes and the surprisingly quick response as well! I only just got back to this, not even expecting an answer, so that is very encouraging indeed.

Scanned image
These products were created by scanning an original printed edition. Most older books are in scanned image format because original digital layout files never existed or were no longer available from the publisher.

For PDF download editions, each page has been run through Optical Character Recognition (OCR) software to attempt to decipher the printed text. The result of this OCR process is placed invisibly behind the picture of each scanned page, to allow for text searching. However, any text in a given book set on a graphical background or in handwritten fonts would most likely not be picked up by the OCR software, and is therefore not searchable. Also, a few larger books may be resampled to fit into the system, and may not have this searchable text background.

For printed books, we have performed high-resolution scans of an original hardcopy of the book. We essentially digitally re-master the book. Unfortunately, the resulting quality of these books is not as high. It's the problem of making a copy of a copy. The text is fine for reading, but illustration work starts to run dark, pixellating and/or losing shades of grey. Moiré patterns may develop in photos. We mark clearly which print titles come from scanned image books so that you can make an informed purchase decision about the quality of what you will receive.

Original electronic format
These ebooks were created from the original electronic layout files, and therefore are fully text searchable. Also, their file size tends to be smaller than scanned image books. Most newer books are in the original electronic format. Both download and print editions of such books should be high quality.
