I like the formatting you've used. I like the idea of integrating some material like weather (although the last good weather system was in Dragon 68 or 69....IMO)

Things I'd like to see / Bugs I spotted in Sample:

Inclusion of one or more of:
Editable PDF,
Excel,
or Word version (editable)

(Reason: I want to replace your crits with my own as my group long ago found instakill crits to be disruptive to people's overall happiness and I'm likely to use a significantly expanded version of lingering injuries by damage type)

BUG: In your sample document, under fear, you have:
KNOW HOW A SIMILAR ENCOUNTER WAS +2
DEFEATED FACING THREAT AGAIN ON THE SAME DAY
+1

I believe it was likely supposed to be "Know how a similar encounter was defeated +2" and "Facing threat again on same day" +1 on separate lines but it looks like there was spill over to the start of the second line.

BUG: Under...See more

I like the idea, I was about to buy it, but then I read the preview more closely. While purporting to be a 5e item, it mentions that it includes rules from earlier editions. But I need a 5e reference, not one that refers me to ideas 20+ years out of date.

While not strictly 5e, the 5e content is complete and accurate. The addition of weather, horror and crit info is specifically cited as being from other sources and may be helpful to some who wish to add to the realism of the campaign. I also doubt that it would violate league rules.

Because it is from a previous edition it doesn't make the reference out of date. 5E is often missing things it should have and scaled down to make it simpler for new players not to get bogged down. Wizards themselves say use what you want, don't what you don't like. Open minds make better players and GMs.

Scanned image
These products were created by scanning an original printed edition. Most older books are in scanned image format because original digital layout files never existed or were no longer available from the publisher.

For PDF download editions, each page has been run through Optical Character Recognition (OCR) software to attempt to decipher the printed text. The result of this OCR process is placed invisibly behind the picture of each scanned page, to allow for text searching. However, any text in a given book set on a graphical background or in handwritten fonts would most likely not be picked up by the OCR software, and is therefore not searchable. Also, a few larger books may be resampled to fit into the system, and may not have this searchable text background.

For printed books, we have performed high-resolution scans of an original hardcopy of the book. We essentially digitally re-master the book. Unfortunately, the resulting quality of these books is not as high. It's the problem of making a copy of a copy. The text is fine for reading, but illustration work starts to run dark, pixellating and/or losing shades of grey. Moiré patterns may develop in photos. We mark clearly which print titles come from scanned image books so that you can make an informed purchase decision about the quality of what you will receive.

Original electronic format
These ebooks were created from the original electronic layout files, and therefore are fully text searchable. Also, their file size tends to be smaller than scanned image books. Most newer books are in the original electronic format. Both download and print editions of such books should be high quality.
