Vincent's Guide to Dwarves

ADD TO WISHLIST >

Join Vincent as he goes into great detail about the Dwarven people. Dwarven religion, culture, and even alcoholic beverages await you within. Vincent's Guide to Dwarves contains expanded information on the dwarven pantheon, 2 new playable races & 3 subraces, 6 new archetypes (Including the Oath of the Dwarven Defender!), 8 new feats, a plethora of new equipment and spells, and of course some new monsters! If you're exceptionally daring, take a peek at the stats of Moradin, God of Dwarves. Not sure why anyone would want to fight him, but hell, I've seen people do stupider things.

Most importantly, at least now we have some decent rules for getting drunk. So saddle up on that dire bear, grab some mead, and cover those shins!

Somehow, this file has replaced the free Barbarian class this author has also published. It's actually pretty good. it gives a plethora of good options for Dwarves. And the drinking/getting drunk rules are actually well thought out.

This looks intriguing, but at this price point, without anything to go on, this doesn't make the cut for me. I can't speak for others, but based on the quantity of content this appears to have, and the price point, I'd have to REALLY trust that it was amazing to shell out the dough. So here's a few suggestions: lower your price for a bit, let a few people buy and review it, then once you get enough traction, raise the price again. Or find some people online and give them eval copies and get them to review. You can also look for some popular online D&D bloggers & such and ask them to review, then post links to the reviews in here. You can also really flesh out the little bit of text you have on this. rather than just say that there's new monsters, list them. rather than just say "6 new archetypes" list them all out, and even put a short blurb on each one. Give potential buyers as much information as possible to make the decision to buy. You could also create a smaller version with only a tiny...See more

Scanned image
These products were created by scanning an original printed edition. Most older books are in scanned image format because original digital layout files never existed or were no longer available from the publisher.

For PDF download editions, each page has been run through Optical Character Recognition (OCR) software to attempt to decipher the printed text. The result of this OCR process is placed invisibly behind the picture of each scanned page, to allow for text searching. However, any text in a given book set on a graphical background or in handwritten fonts would most likely not be picked up by the OCR software, and is therefore not searchable. Also, a few larger books may be resampled to fit into the system, and may not have this searchable text background.

For printed books, we have performed high-resolution scans of an original hardcopy of the book. We essentially digitally re-master the book. Unfortunately, the resulting quality of these books is not as high. It's the problem of making a copy of a copy. The text is fine for reading, but illustration work starts to run dark, pixellating and/or losing shades of grey. Moiré patterns may develop in photos. We mark clearly which print titles come from scanned image books so that you can make an informed purchase decision about the quality of what you will receive.

Original electronic format
These ebooks were created from the original electronic layout files, and therefore are fully text searchable. Also, their file size tends to be smaller than scanned image books. Most newer books are in the original electronic format. Both download and print editions of such books should be high quality.
