5e Character Sheet: Revisited

I found the traditional 5e character sheet quite wasteful and wanting of space. Too much room was devoted to the wrong thing; it left me jotting down notes and using shorthand that ended up making me more irritated than informed. To boot, the form fillable version of those sheets were not as robust as I would have liked - particularly for formatting spacing.  Thus, this re-work of the Character Sheet was born!

Features

  • A slightly altered and recalibrated redesign of the character sheet for 5e D&D.
  • Completely Form Fillable including Character Potrait image importing on page 2.
  • Find most of your information in familiar places, perfect for those who like efficient changes.
  • One version with a "Spell Slot Block" to track spells level 1 through 9, Save DC and Attack Bonus.
  • Another version with a "Resources Block" for those characters who have no need of magic (such as Battle Master fighters, Monks, and Barbarians).
  • Each version of these sheets is designed to work in conjunction with my 5e Character Inventory Sheet - otherwise you'll find the lack of inventory space disturbing!

Drop The Die LogoNote: I have filled in some "Quick Reference Info" on Page 2 - but it is easily removed for your own convenience!

For those of you who prefer to manually fill your character sheet: Simply download the file, open it in Adobe Acrobat, and go to [File] -> [Print] -> along the top select [Print to PDF]. It'll give you a completely box-less version of the sheet! Be sure to delete the Quick Reference Info on page 2 if you want that area blank as well!

This Sheet is superb for those who want an easy, efficent form fillable that adds just the right style of updating but keeps close to the orginal. High marks on including two variations for casters and non casters. There is plenty of space to put you [...]

Scanned image
These products were created by scanning an original printed edition. Most older books are in scanned image format because original digital layout files never existed or were no longer available from the publisher.

For PDF download editions, each page has been run through Optical Character Recognition (OCR) software to attempt to decipher the printed text. The result of this OCR process is placed invisibly behind the picture of each scanned page, to allow for text searching. However, any text in a given book set on a graphical background or in handwritten fonts would most likely not be picked up by the OCR software, and is therefore not searchable. Also, a few larger books may be resampled to fit into the system, and may not have this searchable text background.

For printed books, we have performed high-resolution scans of an original hardcopy of the book. We essentially digitally re-master the book. Unfortunately, the resulting quality of these books is not as high. It's the problem of making a copy of a copy. The text is fine for reading, but illustration work starts to run dark, pixellating and/or losing shades of grey. Moiré patterns may develop in photos. We mark clearly which print titles come from scanned image books so that you can make an informed purchase decision about the quality of what you will receive.
Original electronic format
These ebooks were created from the original electronic layout files, and therefore are fully text searchable. Also, their file size tends to be smaller than scanned image books. Most newer books are in the original electronic format. Both download and print editions of such books should be high quality.
