Bag of Holding Inventory Sheet

ADD TO WISHLIST >

Scraping his way down a long, narrow passage, Thornbrax "The Orange" drags a strange bag behind him - murmuring to himself about such prediciments. As the tiny tunnel opens up into a cavernous room, no less than five green impish creatures snort and chortle at their next victim.
"Yeah yeah, shut up," he says. As soon as he flicks the bag open, a six-foot tall spindly swordsman with flame-red hair clambors out - along with his sword, his pack, and a six foot tall longbow.
"I could have died in there!" Vek shouts.

It's Kinda Mandatory: Trying to keep up with five-hundred pounds of loot on an average character sheet or even average paper is a herculean task - one you should not have to burden themselves with.

Thoughful Layout: Try out this itemized, fairly stylish, well put together equipment sheet. It's complete with spaces for weight, treasure value, coin storage / reminder of coin weight, and most of the rules for your bag of holding (Excluded the "destruction" rules, as it was too much to bear thinking of).

Form Fillable: Each section is form fillable with Adobe Acrobat, complete with simple computing for current weight - to help all of you online gamers keep track of your stuff as simply as possible.

Updated Monthly: Every month I put out a survey with over 30 people who use the sheet weekly to get feedback. I make changes (sometimes subtle) and re-upload every time a change is made!

"Too Much Room!" - I've handed this sheet out to 6 players, in person, so far. All of them have said "I feel like i'll never fill this sheet up!" Even those of you who want to track pouches of flour and individual pieces of cloth - there should be PLENTY of room within this sheet, far beyond the 500lb capacity of the bag.

A great supplement! The only problems I have had are that the PDF's are a very large and rather strange size. I have yet to find a way to standardize them if you try and combine them into a single PDF file (which would be nice!)

If they could be changed to fit a standard size (like say... 8.5/11 or even 8.5/14) that would be fantastic!

Otherwise, great product, and only a few very niche concerns.

The coin sections don't add their weight to the total weight automatically. That is, if I list '700 copper' it doesn't change the weight at all. Is that intentional? Would be nice if it calculated the weight is all!

Oh lordy, sorry I never saw this comment, Joshua.
I originally had the coins add their weight automatically, but it came to my attention after many MANY requests in the early days, it's much easier to add weight (you can put "coins" and the weight anywhere else on the sheet) than it is to subtract weight (coins with a negative value, hoping it doesn't throw an exception depending on the PDF reader/writer used).

A whole lot of DMs apparently do not care much for coin weight, over 30 people requested I remove it from the original version, so it is intentional it doesn't factor automatically. Sadly, someone's always going to be left out in the cold. Hope it's not too much of a deal breaker.

If more folx chime in that they'd like it to factor that way, I'll happily make those changes in version 3!

Not sure if it's just me but on the bottom right, the third line of text is like missing it's bottom half. This occurs on the form fillable and regular.

Hey, Matthew. I double, triple, and quadruple checked the Manual fill version and never got that issue.
For some reason the "form fillable" version DID split the image into like... 700 pieces, so the background overlapped in places after i uploaded it. I'm doing a fresh upload now, so check back and see if it's fixed for you!

Odd, I re-uploaded both... There may be some hang-ups uploading such a big file on this site. I just redownloaded it on a fresh PC and couldn't recreate the issue with the Manual fill sheet. I'll see about shrinking it down 20% and uploading it again just to be safe. Thanks for the heads up!

If you find an issue with the sheet - please feel free to message me before you review! It usually only takes me a day or two to fix your issue - particularly computing issues. Adobe Acrobat can be a pain, for that I apologize! Enjoy.

This is just personal opinion (Sorry I'm not sure if this site has dm's so I'll just post this here) but I would really rather be able to have a download option without he first sheet in the way. I'm trying to edit it and keep scrolling up into a giant bag popping into my face because I accidentally went too far and scrolled into the first page. I don't want to pay a monthly subscription fee to just be able to delete that sheet and only use the one I really want.

I concur!
I've been trying to work with DM's Guild reps to get this page to preview correctly, as I get numerous comments about it not displaying for people. One suggested "fix" was to make it two pages long, and that the preview would then function. I added that "cover page" to try and fix the issue - which of course did not work. I set the file to roll back before christmas, but apparently that didn't take!

I'll fix this in just a few minutes. Thanks Dustin!

Scanned image
These products were created by scanning an original printed edition. Most older books are in scanned image format because original digital layout files never existed or were no longer available from the publisher.

For PDF download editions, each page has been run through Optical Character Recognition (OCR) software to attempt to decipher the printed text. The result of this OCR process is placed invisibly behind the picture of each scanned page, to allow for text searching. However, any text in a given book set on a graphical background or in handwritten fonts would most likely not be picked up by the OCR software, and is therefore not searchable. Also, a few larger books may be resampled to fit into the system, and may not have this searchable text background.

For printed books, we have performed high-resolution scans of an original hardcopy of the book. We essentially digitally re-master the book. Unfortunately, the resulting quality of these books is not as high. It's the problem of making a copy of a copy. The text is fine for reading, but illustration work starts to run dark, pixellating and/or losing shades of grey. Moiré patterns may develop in photos. We mark clearly which print titles come from scanned image books so that you can make an informed purchase decision about the quality of what you will receive.

Original electronic format
These ebooks were created from the original electronic layout files, and therefore are fully text searchable. Also, their file size tends to be smaller than scanned image books. Most newer books are in the original electronic format. Both download and print editions of such books should be high quality.
