Crit & Miss (Supplement)

Spice up your combat with these critical fumble tables!

Slice off an orc's head, cut the wings off of a demon or sever a Kraken's tentacle. This is a critical success and fail supplement for DMs who want to add some extra depth and/or danger to their encounters. It uses several different rulesets to try and accomodate every type of player, from the veterans down to new players. It can be used to offer some advantage to the players, their enemies or to simply level the playing field.

FEATURES:

• 7 different bodyparts to debilitate with your critical hits! Hit your enemy hard using a chance-based system to determine where you hit him and how bad it hurts.

• More than 80 different outcomes! Every damage type has a different critical hit effect. Where maces might cripple an enemy's leg, a spear might penetrate his lung and make him bleed.

• Use the ruleset which works for you! The system has several different rulesets that affect how critical hits will play out for your players and their foes.

• 11 new conditions! This supplement introduces several new conditions for your to use in your games and with the crit tables!

• Critical fails! Sometimes a fighter may overextend his reach or a wizard may fizzle his spell; use these tables to determine how badly they screwed up!

• Printable condition cards! At the end of the supplement are several pages of printable condition cards that you can hand to your players to keep track of the different effects that are unravelling at the table. This includes all of the core conditions as well!

• Printer friendly! There is also a printer-friendly version of the supplement available in black-and-white.
