Is there any chance of converting this into the bundle that links to the individual items for this and your other compendiums?

Hi Ben, as far as I know there's no way to convert an existing product into a bundle. This was published before the bundle functionality existed on DMsGuild! Sorry.

JVC, do you have Fantasy Grounds modules for these *bundles*?

I'm a little confused. The maps in the accompanying compressed file don't seem to have any connection to the adventures. What am I missing?

I've just re-uploaded in case there was an issue - the maps should be correct now if they were not before!

are you going to be releasing adventure compendium: volume 1 in hard back print form?

I would love to, bu unfortunately the guidelines for who is allowed to create Print on Demand options is not particularly clear. I have requested in the past without success. Hopefully if my work continues to grow in popularity the admins might change their mind!

Why does this not contain all parts of Serpent Isle? Seems like bad bang for buck; drug dealer tactics. I mean, I'm now going to buy the Serpent Isle separately, which is the point I guess.

Sorry you feel that way! I've not included Serpent Isle because it's a full campaign, around 3-4 times larger than the individual adventures and would bump up the cost significantly.

Then bump the cost up accordingly if you have to, or they should probably be taken out entirely. I get the concept, that *those parts* can be used easily standalone, but I don't honestly believe any DM out there would be satisfied with just having 3 and 4; most would want 1 and 2 so they could at least look them over, after all anything is modular if you try hard enough. Like I said, it seem like drug dealer tactics; "like this taste? Well you can always buy MORE..." which is exactly what I did, I went and bought the Serpent Isle pack so I essentially bought the same thing (parts 3 & 4) twice. I felt obligated. Which, to be fair, I don't think is your intent, it is simply perceived that way.

Don't get me wrong, I think your stuff is great and I'm a huge fan of your work; I was super happy for you the other day when I saw Chris Perkins retweet you. I would just say that this seems like a bad way to market your products.

Thanks for the insight! To some extent it is what I want, this is a huge source of income for me so I do need the sales, but each adventure is also already at a massive discount in the Compendium!

In future, I don’t think I’ll be splitting up adventures anyway, I find it can break the narrative somewhat.

Thanks for your ongoing support, it meant an awful lot to get that retweet! I hope I can continue to produce good work in 2018!

Wonderful Producst! Reading through them, I'm very excited to share them with my players, thanks a lot!

Just a side note to be taken however you like (as you are in charge of your business!): Maybe you could switch the first 2 parts of Serpent Isle with the later two in this wonderful compendium, so that people who like the initial adventures can then buy the full product after they have seen the goodness of the beginning? Or even sell the other two parts as separate? Just a thought. Thanks again!

Thanks! Hope you enjoy!

I tried to make the first two parts of Serpent Isle one-shots, but they didn't really work. Too much of it is set up for the final two parts.

Just bought this collection and discovered that 'The Winter Yonderland' PDF file is actually 'Cult of The Glutton'! Can you please rectify this mistake and provide me with a means to download the 'The Winter Yonderland' PDF please?

Hi Aaran,

Thanks for letting me know! I'm not sure how or why that has happened, but I've updated all the files just in case! If you could re-download them and let me know if it works that would be appreciated!

I have bought the compendium but can't download any of the Serpent Isle series except for Vipers Pit - the other 3 either just misdirect download Winter Yonderland or don't work.

The download seems to work now. I don't know what was going on. Is it correct that the compendium is not intended to include part 1 & 2 of the Serpent Isle series just part 3 & 4?

How bizarre! Glad that fixed itself for you!

That is correct, those two parts should be playable as One-Shots, for the full campaign and setting you'll need to buy the rest of the product.

Hope you enjoy!

Scanned image
These products were created by scanning an original printed edition. Most older books are in scanned image format because original digital layout files never existed or were no longer available from the publisher.

For PDF download editions, each page has been run through Optical Character Recognition (OCR) software to attempt to decipher the printed text. The result of this OCR process is placed invisibly behind the picture of each scanned page, to allow for text searching. However, any text in a given book set on a graphical background or in handwritten fonts would most likely not be picked up by the OCR software, and is therefore not searchable. Also, a few larger books may be resampled to fit into the system, and may not have this searchable text background.

For printed books, we have performed high-resolution scans of an original hardcopy of the book. We essentially digitally re-master the book. Unfortunately, the resulting quality of these books is not as high. It's the problem of making a copy of a copy. The text is fine for reading, but illustration work starts to run dark, pixellating and/or losing shades of grey. Moiré patterns may develop in photos. We mark clearly which print titles come from scanned image books so that you can make an informed purchase decision about the quality of what you will receive.

Original electronic format
These ebooks were created from the original electronic layout files, and therefore are fully text searchable. Also, their file size tends to be smaller than scanned image books. Most newer books are in the original electronic format. Both download and print editions of such books should be high quality.
