Magic Items for Fighters

ADD TO WISHLIST >

Nobody appreciates magic items, armor, and weapons more than a fighter. Magic items are what closes the gap between earthbound fighters and reality-shaping wizards.

Here are some new magic items designed just for the war machine in the party, including 1 battleaxe, 1 flail, 1 glaive, 1 greataxe, 1 greatsword, 1 halberd, 2 helms, 1 lance, 7 longswords, 1 maul, 1 morningstar, 1 rapier, 2 rings, 1 shield, 1 shortsword, 1 trident, 1 warhammer, and 1 whip. 31 new magic items total, all meant to make fighters more versatile and more unstoppable!

However, fighters aren't the only ones who can use these items. While designed with fighters in mind, these items don't have a class requirement for attunement.

Also introducing 1 new simple melee weapon, the Brass Knuckles; 3 new martial melee weapons, the Advanced Warhammer, the Sword-catcher, and the Warglaives; and a new type of armor, the Tower Shield. Go forth and dominate!

In a campaign setting which included the Warrior class, would these items be appropriate? Or is there a different one which is more suited?

I feel these weapons and items are suited to all campaign settings. Why do you ask?

I have a Rogue and a Warrior in my Elder Scrolls campaign, and wanted specialised items for them. I bought (and loved) the Rogue items, but as there isn't a list for Warriors specifically, I wondered if the Fighter PDF would be a good substitute.

The warrior is basically a fighter if you ask me. Like it says up in the description, this PDF contains mostly magic weapons. However the first page includes 4 new types of melee weapon, and a new shield, which is where I feel this product really contributes.

Thank you for the reply - it's my first time to DM, so I don't really know up from down yet!

Fixed a minor typo and revised the description for the sword-catcher weapon.

Scanned image
These products were created by scanning an original printed edition. Most older books are in scanned image format because original digital layout files never existed or were no longer available from the publisher.

For PDF download editions, each page has been run through Optical Character Recognition (OCR) software to attempt to decipher the printed text. The result of this OCR process is placed invisibly behind the picture of each scanned page, to allow for text searching. However, any text in a given book set on a graphical background or in handwritten fonts would most likely not be picked up by the OCR software, and is therefore not searchable. Also, a few larger books may be resampled to fit into the system, and may not have this searchable text background.

For printed books, we have performed high-resolution scans of an original hardcopy of the book. We essentially digitally re-master the book. Unfortunately, the resulting quality of these books is not as high. It's the problem of making a copy of a copy. The text is fine for reading, but illustration work starts to run dark, pixellating and/or losing shades of grey. Moiré patterns may develop in photos. We mark clearly which print titles come from scanned image books so that you can make an informed purchase decision about the quality of what you will receive.

Original electronic format
These ebooks were created from the original electronic layout files, and therefore are fully text searchable. Also, their file size tends to be smaller than scanned image books. Most newer books are in the original electronic format. Both download and print editions of such books should be high quality.
