Heroes of Flesh and Faith -- Barbarian and Paladin Class Options

"Heroes of Flesh and Faith" is a collection of six new class options: three Primal Paths for barbarians and three Sacred Oaths for paladins.

The Path of the Hurricane turns a barbarian into a whirlwind of steel, as those who walk it specialize in a form of two-weapon fighting that, while not particularly graceful, is undeniably effective in its brutality. The Path of the Walking Fortress grants a barbarian exceptional defensive capabilities -- albeit with a few flavorful penalties -- and allows him to draw the ire of his opponents away from the weaker members of the party. The Path of the Warp Spasm, inspired by Irish mythology, couples a barbarian's emotional rage to a disturbing physical transformation that offers greater offensive power and the ability to wield terror as a weapon.

The Oath of Coterie allows a paladin to swear his sword to the progress of civilization and the plight of the common folk, granting powers ranging from shrugging off exhaustion to limiting the movement of more naturally gifted foes. The Oath of Enlightenment stems from a paladin's desire to serve knowledge and self-improvement, affording abilities that include inspiring allies and a constant anti-deception aura. The Oath of Reverence calls to paladins of an earlier age, those who wish to serve a deity in as direct and potent a manner as possible, and offers up more charitable spellcasting options and moments of divine sight.
