Last Flickering Light

ADD TO WISHLIST >

Corruption has spread throughout the Sword Coast and whispers of a long dead god have started to echo through the streets. Innocent civilians are being slaughtered by the very guards they trusted and orc raids always follow close behind. An adventuring party has been sent out to investigate the orcs’ involvement. They will soon find that the situation is far more horrifying than they imagined.

A Dungeons & Dragons 5E adventure that isn't for the feint of heart! Be prepared to test your mettle with custom puzzles, a unique magic item, terrorizing madness, and of course... a lich.

"Last Flickering Light" can be ran as a stand alone adventure or in tandem with another campaign.

You can find my full review here https://youtu.be/3WbHx2iNr5M but Last Flickering Light is a good little thematic adventure whose only downsides are the lack of polish in a few places. [...]

The background story and GM-only information were a pleasure to read and found myself wanting to see where the story was going. I couldn’t wait to discover what new challenges I get subject the players with. This adventure is not a typical du [...]

Being a new DM I mix alot of modules into my stories. I found that this adventure was easy to put into my campaign and wasn't too difficult to understand with me being new to DM'ing. The mechanics of the adventure are alot of fun and the puzzles are cr [...]

For his first module, Ratking publishes a very nice dungeon with a great 'Tomb of Horrors' vibe. Filled with traps and enemies and puzzles, all controlled by a Lich with one goal: add kills to his death toll. It gets a solid 4 stars from me. The [...]

Scanned image
These products were created by scanning an original printed edition. Most older books are in scanned image format because original digital layout files never existed or were no longer available from the publisher.

For PDF download editions, each page has been run through Optical Character Recognition (OCR) software to attempt to decipher the printed text. The result of this OCR process is placed invisibly behind the picture of each scanned page, to allow for text searching. However, any text in a given book set on a graphical background or in handwritten fonts would most likely not be picked up by the OCR software, and is therefore not searchable. Also, a few larger books may be resampled to fit into the system, and may not have this searchable text background.

For printed books, we have performed high-resolution scans of an original hardcopy of the book. We essentially digitally re-master the book. Unfortunately, the resulting quality of these books is not as high. It's the problem of making a copy of a copy. The text is fine for reading, but illustration work starts to run dark, pixellating and/or losing shades of grey. Moiré patterns may develop in photos. We mark clearly which print titles come from scanned image books so that you can make an informed purchase decision about the quality of what you will receive.

Original electronic format
These ebooks were created from the original electronic layout files, and therefore are fully text searchable. Also, their file size tends to be smaller than scanned image books. Most newer books are in the original electronic format. Both download and print editions of such books should be high quality.
