It looks really good nicely done. But I’m mad that you have the buy and sell in the wrong position I would like that fixed please.

Hello Jamari, the idea is for this to be seen from the point of view of the Dungeon Master, so it sells for that price and buys from the player =)

I have been looking for something like this! A printable price list I can hand to my players when they walk into a shop showing Items, Services, and prices. However, I would love to have the items broken down to "One shop per page" so I can just hand the players the "General Store" portion, and just limited to the items that this store sells, perhaps with adjusted prices. Perhaps release this content as a printable .xls spread sheet? I would love to help work on this, if you would like.

Is there a difference between your Shops and Stores vs Stores and Shops pdfs?

No, the All_Shops_1.1.pdf is older and Shops_and_Stores_1.15.pdf has some corrections aswell as the link to the homebrewery if I'm not mistaken. Haven't noticed I changed the name.

Hello Darien, yes I have a few things I wanted to add but I haven't had much time since I became a father. But a new updated version is soon to be released!

Quick question: should the Buy/Sell columns be reversed? For example "Acid" @ a Shady Dealer costs 25gp to buy, but my players can then sell it for 50GP? Every store seems to be like this.

New DM here, so I may be misunderstanding. :/ Any feedback would be much appreciated! Thank you.

Edit: put "my players" instead of "I".

Hi Ma C, the idea is that this is from the DM point of view (you are the merchant) so you buy for half the price. :D I hope this clarifies it!

How does it make sense that a village blacksmith can make a greatsword but not a sickle, a common farming implement? Better yet, how can they make a warhammer, but not a light hammer? I'd love to purchase this, but it just doesn't make sense to me. Am I missing something?

EDIT: I've just found your other Stores and Shops Book which has entries that make a lot more sense. I really do suggest that you tell people which one is the updated/more accurate one, or at least what the differences are. As it is, I only found your other one because I went searching for a better one.

I get a notice that the item is updated but listed above is:
You Have Purchased This Product
(All_Shops.pdf)
(All_Shops.pdf)

Not sure which is the updated version. Can you include a version number or a date so we can tell? Thanks.

Scanned image
These products were created by scanning an original printed edition. Most older books are in scanned image format because original digital layout files never existed or were no longer available from the publisher.

For PDF download editions, each page has been run through Optical Character Recognition (OCR) software to attempt to decipher the printed text. The result of this OCR process is placed invisibly behind the picture of each scanned page, to allow for text searching. However, any text in a given book set on a graphical background or in handwritten fonts would most likely not be picked up by the OCR software, and is therefore not searchable. Also, a few larger books may be resampled to fit into the system, and may not have this searchable text background.

For printed books, we have performed high-resolution scans of an original hardcopy of the book. We essentially digitally re-master the book. Unfortunately, the resulting quality of these books is not as high. It's the problem of making a copy of a copy. The text is fine for reading, but illustration work starts to run dark, pixellating and/or losing shades of grey. Moiré patterns may develop in photos. We mark clearly which print titles come from scanned image books so that you can make an informed purchase decision about the quality of what you will receive.

Original electronic format
These ebooks were created from the original electronic layout files, and therefore are fully text searchable. Also, their file size tends to be smaller than scanned image books. Most newer books are in the original electronic format. Both download and print editions of such books should be high quality.
