The Unquiet Dead
They rise from the dead and prey on the living. The Necromancer
can, however, control them with careful study and control of the
negative energy permeating the planes.

Nothing terrifies the living more than a corpse shambling towards
them in a dark hallway moaning softly. That is, unless, the person
in question is a necromancer and the shambling dead is under his
control.

Resurrecting Necromancy is a supplement for fifth
edition that unlocks the mysteries of Necromancy and the
Undead.

This book was written for players and GMs alike, with new spells and character options.

This e-book contains:
* 1 new playable race
* 4 new backgrounds
* 3 new character archetypes
* 11 feats geared towards Necomancy
* more than 45 new spells for the Necromancer on the go

Any chance you have/will put the archetypes up on DnD Beyond?

Is this the same text as "Van Helsing's Guide to the Unquiet Dead: Necromancy for 5th Edition"?

I agree with Chris S. I read the sample text and I was disturbed to see the number of typos and outright misspellings. "You have no need to breath." The word is "breathe." All the pretty fonts and great design in the world can't cover up such glaring mistakes.
Speaking of design, it looks amazing. I checked out this site's sample as well as a different sample on another site and it's clearly designed to conform with the 5th edition aesthetic, at least on the interior pages. It feels authentic, solid and consistent, which is a nice way for a publisher to show he or she cares about the reader. While the cover is an atrocity, the interior sketch art is fresh and exciting. In fact, I'd like to see more of these interior drawings, please. They are a real treat.
The writing, overall, isn't bad. In fact it's quite good. However, the switching from third to second-person perspective is annoying. It's best to pick one and stick with it. The switch makes sense in an adventure module when...See more

Initially very intriguing, there is a need to make some of the spells and class archetypes consistent with existing spells, or indeed internally. Small typos such as misplacing spells in level lists or spells that require internal class ability logic, and are therefore incompatible with pre-existing characters, hinder an exciting possibility for home-brew. Wait for these to be fixed before purchase, but if they are then this will be worth it.

Scanned image
These products were created by scanning an original printed edition. Most older books are in scanned image format because original digital layout files never existed or were no longer available from the publisher.

For PDF download editions, each page has been run through Optical Character Recognition (OCR) software to attempt to decipher the printed text. The result of this OCR process is placed invisibly behind the picture of each scanned page, to allow for text searching. However, any text in a given book set on a graphical background or in handwritten fonts would most likely not be picked up by the OCR software, and is therefore not searchable. Also, a few larger books may be resampled to fit into the system, and may not have this searchable text background.

For printed books, we have performed high-resolution scans of an original hardcopy of the book. We essentially digitally re-master the book. Unfortunately, the resulting quality of these books is not as high. It's the problem of making a copy of a copy. The text is fine for reading, but illustration work starts to run dark, pixellating and/or losing shades of grey. Moiré patterns may develop in photos. We mark clearly which print titles come from scanned image books so that you can make an informed purchase decision about the quality of what you will receive.
Original electronic format
These ebooks were created from the original electronic layout files, and therefore are fully text searchable. Also, their file size tends to be smaller than scanned image books. Most newer books are in the original electronic format. Both download and print editions of such books should be high quality.
