Any chance this will eventually be POD?
I would love to see this sitting on my shelf.

It is not likely at this stage - OBS policy is to give POD priority to new releases, and this one is now quite old.

Servus,

Sind die Abenteuer, die auf Deutsch erschienen sind, auch auf Deutsch enthalten?

Some of the most enjoyable campaigns I've ever run.
Easy to run and has most of the information you could ever need for the campaign.
The only criticism I can think of is that it would be nice to have the MM page numbers for the monster but otherwise Great Content at a VERY VERY GOOD price

I've been steadily luring my kids and nephews (ages 11 - 21)
to the Geek Side over the years. Just finished playing "Terror at Triboar" and "Into Ivy Mansion" with the whole Cousins Group. They enjoyed the opportunity to role play and the plot twists. Thanks bunches.

I purchased this collection sometime ago and have had a great time running these adventures. They are very versatile and can be woven into any story line. There are a lot of openings for more adventure hooks and mysteries. An outstanding product!

Purchased Collection 1 and 2 today. Looking to add color with them to a DND 5E Forgotten Realms setting I am starting up, augmenting any standard WotC 5E content (I have it all). Hoping these are more Old School (player agency sandbox rather than linear adventures). If so, they will make up the bulk of my campaign in a Fafhrd/Gray Mouser series of adventuring sense more so than any meta-campaign WotC sense.

Purchased mostly from endorsements on other forums I posted questions to (reddit, DDB).

Was that your intent in creating these? That is to say, I am attempting to ‘Old School’ within 5E with sandboxes and uncertainty. Hoping these will enable me to do that.

If not, any chance you can develop future adventures with that in mind? Within Dessarin Valley and related locales?

Player agency is important to me and I try and emphasise that in my adventures. Some have more options than others

This a collection of one shot, 4-6 hours of playtime worth adventures that read easily, provide stats only if not readily available in all the rulebooks and usually have a nice, lived in setting and more often than not an interesting storyline. The adventures range from 1st to 7th level (max), a range where all the D&D clones work -as long as one accepts there are any number of archmages and such who can walk over the party at any time and will do so: but that is a fault of D&D and clones, not of these adventures. Given that, the bundle is in my opinion a good buy and makes for fourteen fine game sessions.

Suprised that this and your other collections are not made available as P.O.D.? I'm old school and love having Hard Copies of Tombs like this.

OBS are only making select titles POD at the moment, possibly because it is a fairly manual process to do it on the Guild.

Even still it's a Surprise that your Collection Books are not among those that have. It just seem strange to me that, the P.B. Anthology & Dungeon books 1&2 are available as collections, but your collected works aren't and you even worked on some of those works (and others) that have been published. It just seems unfair, especially your works are among the Best Out There!

I bought two of these adventures individually, but both were so good I went ahead and got the whole collection! One game I run is mostly one-shots with a rotating cast of whoever can show up that day, so it's perfect to have all of these adventures take place in a similar region of Faerun. The geography lends credence to the idea that these freelancer adventurers just happen to be in town when the next adventure finds them :)

JFYI MT Black: In Little Shrine of Horrors, some of the symbols for the "Gods on the Symbol Room Handout" and the "Symbol Room key" do not match. I discovered it when I ran the game, which my party of teens loved, particularly the twist at the end.

One good adventure path that will take your characters up to level 7 is TOTMM, DTD, IIM, MVFS, LSOH, ETTLP

I am currently running through all your adventures on Roll20, and the group is enjoying them immensely. In King of the Cats, I had the ranger sneak the mermaid around several attractions and patrols. And during Giantslayer, they wanted to defend at the village walls, so I added a couple dire wolves peppered with arrows (at half health) which chased after the retreating hunters.

I did notice that the individual adventures look like they now have maps included with them. Do you have plans on adding them to the set?
Customer avatar
M.T. B June 22, 2018 11:43 pm UTC
CREATOR
Some of them do, and I need to add them in when I get a moment. If there is a map you are after, reach out to me on Facebook and I'll see if I have it (some of them I don't have player versions of)

Scanned image
These products were created by scanning an original printed edition. Most older books are in scanned image format because original digital layout files never existed or were no longer available from the publisher.

For PDF download editions, each page has been run through Optical Character Recognition (OCR) software to attempt to decipher the printed text. The result of this OCR process is placed invisibly behind the picture of each scanned page, to allow for text searching. However, any text in a given book set on a graphical background or in handwritten fonts would most likely not be picked up by the OCR software, and is therefore not searchable. Also, a few larger books may be resampled to fit into the system, and may not have this searchable text background.

For printed books, we have performed high-resolution scans of an original hardcopy of the book. We essentially digitally re-master the book. Unfortunately, the resulting quality of these books is not as high. It's the problem of making a copy of a copy. The text is fine for reading, but illustration work starts to run dark, pixellating and/or losing shades of grey. Moiré patterns may develop in photos. We mark clearly which print titles come from scanned image books so that you can make an informed purchase decision about the quality of what you will receive.
Original electronic format
These ebooks were created from the original electronic layout files, and therefore are fully text searchable. Also, their file size tends to be smaller than scanned image books. Most newer books are in the original electronic format. Both download and print editions of such books should be high quality.
