I love this adventure... this will be the one that I use for my very first time as a DM. I would also like to add my voice to those who have requested the follow-up adventures that continue to follow the missing father... and the Nelanther Isle pirates that I seem to recall you mentioning, iirc. Thank you for your great contributions!

Just ran this adventure a few days ago and absolutely loved it.
I am a fairly new DM and this adventure was easy enough to follow and run for my group (3 players)
Had some difficulty with the ship fight but perhaps that's because I'm not use to large combat encounters.

We just ran this adventure on Sunday and needless to say my group is now hooked on ocean adventures. It was very fluid for me as a newer DM to run and had everything laid out fairly nice and neat.

This is crazy. I created this story as a kid of these time traveling pirates that used a ship like on the cover when in the past, and a interstellar freighter in the future. I originally named them "The Mystics" but my dad gave me the idea to name them the "Day Chasers"

Just finished running this with my group. We all thought it was a fun story with great characters and many unique elements that were interesting. It is also a nice change of pace for the players to be on the sea.
If you do ever get to writing a follow up I will certainly be running it. Great job!

I ran this module for my first time DMing last month for my brother and a few friends- it was so much fun! I really hope you end up writing a sequel! We used some cool digital maps from Dynamic Dungeons for the ship and parts of the island as well, there's some pictures of our module in my post about DMing if you want to check it out: https://questfriendsgaming.com/2018/10/12/my-experience-dming-for-the-first-time/

I bought this to get my party from WaterDeep to Chult to run Hidden Shrine from TFTYP... I have to say I'm impressed with this adventure already! I second the idea for a follow up. Cheers.

Thanks Patrick! I do have plans for a follow-up, it's just very hard to find time at the moment with so many other cool projects demanding my attention!

I love this adventure! I enjoyed it so much I've continued running my own campaign based on the initial ideas in it and characters we used. I'd love to know how your planned sequel pans out when you get around to writing it.

Run through this recently with my party as a change of pace from our Princes of the Apocalypse game. It was enjoyed by all the party even though I could not maintain a consistent voice for a certain "mischievous" NPC. Our Dex Paladin was especially pleased. Well written in terms of story and pace. I converted this to use with Fantasy Grounds in about an hour or so with no issues. We are looking forward to running some of the author's other adventures. Keep up the good work.

Had a blast running this adventure with my kids. The plot hooks at the end have grabbed their attention; they want to stay on the boat and see what happens next. We would love to see a continuation/sequel!

Thanks Ben. The sequel is some way off, I'm afraid, as other projects are chewing up time. But do keep me posted as to your further adventures onboard the Dawn Chaser.

PS - I was thinking the next adventure would be set in the Nelanther Isles, so perhaps you can improv something there!

This is a pretty cool adventure. A great change of pace from traditional wilderness and dungeon crawls. The sight won't let me do a formal review -- I'll try again later.

Scanned image
These products were created by scanning an original printed edition. Most older books are in scanned image format because original digital layout files never existed or were no longer available from the publisher.

For PDF download editions, each page has been run through Optical Character Recognition (OCR) software to attempt to decipher the printed text. The result of this OCR process is placed invisibly behind the picture of each scanned page, to allow for text searching. However, any text in a given book set on a graphical background or in handwritten fonts would most likely not be picked up by the OCR software, and is therefore not searchable. Also, a few larger books may be resampled to fit into the system, and may not have this searchable text background.

For printed books, we have performed high-resolution scans of an original hardcopy of the book. We essentially digitally re-master the book. Unfortunately, the resulting quality of these books is not as high. It's the problem of making a copy of a copy. The text is fine for reading, but illustration work starts to run dark, pixellating and/or losing shades of grey. Moiré patterns may develop in photos. We mark clearly which print titles come from scanned image books so that you can make an informed purchase decision about the quality of what you will receive.

Original electronic format
These ebooks were created from the original electronic layout files, and therefore are fully text searchable. Also, their file size tends to be smaller than scanned image books. Most newer books are in the original electronic format. Both download and print editions of such books should be high quality.
