Hi there! I know this is kind of an old thread but I hoped if you could help me out with how the nose function works. Can you change the nose every time you apply your facepaint or is it static per face paint you have?

Hi Mat! Yes - every time you apply a face paint, you can choose the color of your nose. That assumes you have some kind of object to use as a nose, like a foam ball or a rubber nose or whatever. You can use an ordinary object as a nose if you get creative!

Hi there, I just bought this product and I've got one question - how many uses of Permormance Art do I have at a given level? I can't find it in the feature description.
Thanks in advance!

PS. I really like the class so far, seems to be something very different from anything I saw earlier ^^

Hello Zbyszko!
You can use Performance Art a number of times equal to your clown power. Glad you're enjoying the clowns! :)

Hey Joe, how are you? I'm planning on submitting your class for play on the Homebrew Review podcast of the Adventuring Guild network! I'll find out if I make it through to recording in the next week or so, and the recordings then will be held in November, to be released before the end of the year! As a content creator myself, I see high value in spotlighting content that deserves far more praise than what it has, and your Clown class is amazing. I hope I get the chance to showcase it, and I'll touch base after finding out more information.

Is there an email I may contact you on for further discussion?

Thanks,
Braydon

I'd love to leave a review, and I did buy this, but for some reason it hasn't allowed me to do so. Short version: 5 stars!

So can you use the preformance arts that are listed under the Face Paints even if you are not currently wearing that face paint?

Hi Travis! Sorry about the wait on the answer here. I haven't checked the site in a while. I'm glad you got the file issue sorted out!
To answer your question: no. Face paints are meant to be swapped when you need certain powers. You have to be wearing the face paint to use its associated performance art(s). Hope this answers your question!

So it turns out that every time I try to download this it can't open the file, I have tried using file viewer, acrobat and many others. I can only read it via downloading it to my Dropbox. Please let me know of a way I can download this and view it through normal means. All the expansions to this class work for me but not the class it's self please help!

Hi Breanna,
Other folks seem to have opened the file without issue. I would try downloading and saving a new copy of the file or using a different reader, like Foxit.
Let me know if that doesn't help and I can try emailing you the file if customer support can't help. Sorry for the inconvenience. I sure hope no one else is having this problem!

Hi Atanas, thanks for the review! It's always great to get feedback from the community.
I'm really glad you like the clown! It was designed as a long-rest oriented class, but I don't think it would be game-breaking to refresh Performance Arts after a short rest. If you try that in your game, let me know how it plays out for you. Same with the noses as magic items — feats are just as optional as magic items, so let me know if you use feats rather than magic items to upgrade your clown spell lists. Both should work as well as the other — except that magic items don't cost class resources!
After many rounds of design, there were plenty of types of clowns that didn't make the final cut of the class. Scary clown was one of them, as was Rodeo, Mime, and so forth. Instead of these types of character clowns, we went with a more historical approach. The great thing about playing a clown is that writing up a new face paint doesn't mean you have to reroll — just work with your DM to find the new face paint...See more

Scanned image
These products were created by scanning an original printed edition. Most older books are in scanned image format because original digital layout files never existed or were no longer available from the publisher.

For PDF download editions, each page has been run through Optical Character Recognition (OCR) software to attempt to decipher the printed text. The result of this OCR process is placed invisibly behind the picture of each scanned page, to allow for text searching. However, any text in a given book set on a graphical background or in handwritten fonts would most likely not be picked up by the OCR software, and is therefore not searchable. Also, a few larger books may be resampled to fit into the system, and may not have this searchable text background.

For printed books, we have performed high-resolution scans of an original hardcopy of the book. We essentially digitally re-master the book. Unfortunately, the resulting quality of these books is not as high. It's the problem of making a copy of a copy. The text is fine for reading, but illustration work starts to run dark, pixellating and/or losing shades of grey. Moiré patterns may develop in photos. We mark clearly which print titles come from scanned image books so that you can make an informed purchase decision about the quality of what you will receive.

Original electronic format
These ebooks were created from the original electronic layout files, and therefore are fully text searchable. Also, their file size tends to be smaller than scanned image books. Most newer books are in the original electronic format. Both download and print editions of such books should be high quality.
