Adventure Pack

Adventure Pack

Your purchase will include the below PDF's AND the Fantasy Grounds .mod files.  These are conversions of four of my best-selling 5th edition D&D DM’s Guild products.

Bale's Outfitting Outpost (SILVER BEST SELLER) can easily be placed in any campaign setting, but it feels right at home in the Forgotten Realms, especially somewhere within The Savage Frontier. The included adventure could also be broken up into several random encounters to be used in your Storm King's Thunder campaign.

This module includes:

20+ New Magical Items

A description of Bale the gnome - who you can use as a recurring NPC

A description of Bale's Outfitting Outpost

A 2+ hour adventure

Bale requests that the party accompany him on a three-day journey. He wishes to sell some of his valuables at a nearby auction, but recent bandit attacks have him looking for added security. He offers a hefty reward based on his safe passage and sales. Will the party accept the request and protect the gnome during his journey?

Blood on the Trail (COPPER BEST SELLER) is set in a non-specific location and can be added to any campaign setting. Bale, the kind gnome and owner of Bale's Outfitting Outpost, requests that the adventurers track down a group of youngsters that rented some horses from him. The horses are overdue and Bale believes that he may have been swindled. Unbeknownst to the gnome, the party of young adventurers has met a dark fate.

A 2 to 3-hour adventure designed for a party of four to five characters with customizations for levels 1st thru 3rd.

The Throne of Bone (SILVER BEST SELLER) is set in a non-specific location and can be inserted into any campaign. The adventure starts with the adventurers coming to the aid of an old farmer whose prized livestock are being attacked by a pack of wolves. This simple quest leads the party to the discovery of the skeletal remains of a bard and a magically resistant door made from an unfamiliar material. The adventuring party must persevere through traps, puzzles, undead and a talking door that mocks them along the journey until they discover the secrets resting upon the seat of the Throne of Bone. Will they sit?

This adventure includes a cursed magical shield, a new undead creature and an artifact.

A 4+ hour adventure for 6th-8th level characters.

18 Cursed Magic Items (COPPER BEST SELLER) - Every once in a while, it’s fun to have your adventurers come across a cursed item. Perhaps one is found in a treasure trove, on a rotting body, sitting on a dusty shelf in a merchant’s shop, or found lying in the road. Cursed items can add a lot of fun to the adventure, change the character’s actions, or foil a plan.

This work includes descriptions of eighteen cursed items ranging from trinkets to magical weapons and armor. Some are just fun little additions to your campaign, while others could be a hindrance to your adventuring party.

Included: Bag of Not-So Holding, The Gibberish Amulet, Beauty of My Eye, Boots of the Swamp, Sheepskin Boots, The Key to Something, The Magic Magnifier, My Little Teacup, and more!

Hi Jeff! This only seems to have the "printer friendly" PDFs. Any chance you could add the "full featured" versions, too?

Brian, I added the full-color version of The Throne of Bone and Blood on the Trail. I hope that helps!

Thanks! I could certainly run from the printable versions, but it's a "nice to have." I'll be doing Blood On The Trail next weekend, so this is great timing. I appreciate you sharing your creativity at such a reasonable price.

Rules Edition(s)
Original electronic
Scanned image
These products were created by scanning an original printed edition. Most older books are in scanned image format because original digital layout files never existed or were no longer available from the publisher.

For PDF download editions, each page has been run through Optical Character Recognition (OCR) software to attempt to decipher the printed text. The result of this OCR process is placed invisibly behind the picture of each scanned page, to allow for text searching. However, any text in a given book set on a graphical background or in handwritten fonts would most likely not be picked up by the OCR software, and is therefore not searchable. Also, a few larger books may be resampled to fit into the system, and may not have this searchable text background.

For printed books, we have performed high-resolution scans of an original hardcopy of the book. We essentially digitally re-master the book. Unfortunately, the resulting quality of these books is not as high. It's the problem of making a copy of a copy. The text is fine for reading, but illustration work starts to run dark, pixellating and/or losing shades of grey. Moiré patterns may develop in photos. We mark clearly which print titles come from scanned image books so that you can make an informed purchase decision about the quality of what you will receive.
Original electronic format
These ebooks were created from the original electronic layout files, and therefore are fully text searchable. Also, their file size tends to be smaller than scanned image books. Most newer books are in the original electronic format. Both download and print editions of such books should be high quality.
