I'm afraid that I don't use that, but if anyone else wants to make it into one I have no objections. (just credit me)

Rob Twohy can do the conversion for you if you're interested, he is fair about it and has converted roughly over 100 DMs Guild products for other authors.

DM's Guild won't let me review this title, so I'm posting it here.

I picked this up because I was excited about seeing what someone had come up with for critical hits in 5E, a system I'm just beginning to use myself. Sadly, it appears that the text of this file is quite ambiguous overall. (I have to say, the titles of each of the mechanics are better than the DM's guide offered-- which was nothing.)

The "Mechanics" listed are ambiguous and really should be clarified. For example: "Opponent's AC is halved for all of the player's subsequent actions until the opponent is damaged by the player." with "all of the player's" and "until the opponent is damaged by the player" being the sort of problem found throughout this document.

Strictly read, that sentence tells me all players in the D&D group (who are all "the player" in a combat scene) attack the target at half AC value (which, in itself, isn't particularly logical considering...See more

Thank you for the feedback and sorry for the confusion; I changed the the wording several times to try and add clarity:

- "Player" as used here is a shortened form of "The player who struck the critical blow"

- "Opponent" or "Target" as used here is a shortened form of "The entity that was struck by the critical blow"

- The term "Any" means any character, npc, monster, etc.

- I wanted most feats to stay with the player until they had gained a benefit from them. After they have, it goes away. These are temporary feats gained in the heat of battle for the next strike; if they fail to land a blow with the next strike they still have the knowledge of what they /should/ have done against this opponent and the knowledge stays with them until they can actually use it.

- These feats only last during the combat they were gained in (unless specified otherwise)

- I think that the power...See more

Scanned image
These products were created by scanning an original printed edition. Most older books are in scanned image format because original digital layout files never existed or were no longer available from the publisher.

For PDF download editions, each page has been run through Optical Character Recognition (OCR) software to attempt to decipher the printed text. The result of this OCR process is placed invisibly behind the picture of each scanned page, to allow for text searching. However, any text in a given book set on a graphical background or in handwritten fonts would most likely not be picked up by the OCR software, and is therefore not searchable. Also, a few larger books may be resampled to fit into the system, and may not have this searchable text background.

For printed books, we have performed high-resolution scans of an original hardcopy of the book. We essentially digitally re-master the book. Unfortunately, the resulting quality of these books is not as high. It's the problem of making a copy of a copy. The text is fine for reading, but illustration work starts to run dark, pixellating and/or losing shades of grey. Moiré patterns may develop in photos. We mark clearly which print titles come from scanned image books so that you can make an informed purchase decision about the quality of what you will receive.

Original electronic format
These ebooks were created from the original electronic layout files, and therefore are fully text searchable. Also, their file size tends to be smaller than scanned image books. Most newer books are in the original electronic format. Both download and print editions of such books should be high quality.
