Very nice! Cant wait to throw this in! My characters have just heard about the Legendary Gulthias Tree! IF they escape their current predicament, they will definitely be headed deeper into the woods to attempt to destroy this tree.

Just read through the adventure. Very well written. I can't wait to make some tweaks and fit it into my currently running LMoP campaign.

Yay! Thanks Nick :) Stick a review on it if you get chance and DEFO let me know what you end up tweaking... would be aces to see how your players deal with the flooded chamber!

Could I use this adventure in a standard Forgotten Realms setting, or is this specific to Curse of Strahd?

Hi Charlton. You can definitely use this in the forgotten Realms setting. It was originally written as a single shot adventure on the High Road / Triboar Trail during the Lost Mines of Phandelver campaign :)

I used this as a side quest in Lost Mines of Phandelver, as it helps explain the blights in the ruins of Thundertree. I ran it for five level 3 characters and the fight with the demon blight was great. Good work!

That's crazy! I intended the adventure to be used that way, because it was written for my group who are on TLMoP.

Glad you loved it.

Very awesome one-shot to add into campaigns or would be awesome to run at conventions. Very well put together and love the added mechanics and soundtrack suggestions! All of my players really enjoyed it and I look forward to running it again at some point. Pulled together the soundtrack and made a playlist if anyone is interested and doesn't mind youtube.... https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLnrQTDzxWUa_wuABX3h1YNCb9I7Y17H86

I ran this in my homebrew with a few cosmetic changes to fit the world. My group loved it and it provided a great challenge for them. Highly recommended 5/5

Played this last night as a little side mission from our main story since 1 of our team was away. It was great fun and has loads of potential for ways that you can complete it. Last boss was tricky (especially when you constantly roll 1 - 5! urrgh!).
Would massively recommend!

Way To easy for four LVL 5 characters, kind of a disapointment i'm afraid.
Not easy to follow either: the druid door part is at the very end of the pdf, and a lot of things are scatered here and there, so you keep going back and forth through the pages. A straightfoward walthrough would've make more sense.

Anyway, nice story, a good side quest indeed

Ah that's a shame Nolwenn. Glad you managed to get something out of it though :)

Scanned image
These products were created by scanning an original printed edition. Most older books are in scanned image format because original digital layout files never existed or were no longer available from the publisher.

For PDF download editions, each page has been run through Optical Character Recognition (OCR) software to attempt to decipher the printed text. The result of this OCR process is placed invisibly behind the picture of each scanned page, to allow for text searching. However, any text in a given book set on a graphical background or in handwritten fonts would most likely not be picked up by the OCR software, and is therefore not searchable. Also, a few larger books may be resampled to fit into the system, and may not have this searchable text background.

For printed books, we have performed high-resolution scans of an original hardcopy of the book. We essentially digitally re-master the book. Unfortunately, the resulting quality of these books is not as high. It's the problem of making a copy of a copy. The text is fine for reading, but illustration work starts to run dark, pixellating and/or losing shades of grey. Moiré patterns may develop in photos. We mark clearly which print titles come from scanned image books so that you can make an informed purchase decision about the quality of what you will receive.

Original electronic format
These ebooks were created from the original electronic layout files, and therefore are fully text searchable. Also, their file size tends to be smaller than scanned image books. Most newer books are in the original electronic format. Both download and print editions of such books should be high quality.
