I'm NEVER allowed to post a review... why is that?

Well, anyway, thanks A LOT for this guide. It helped me understand what was coming from the adventure, making really easy to reference it using DnD Beyond.

BTW, I did what Drivethru suggested. Bought it for 2 dollars after using it for free via PWYW. Kind regards!

This is incredibly helpful, but I HAVE to give props to the writer for dropping one of my favorite Simpsons references: Gamblor's Neon Claws. Bravo, sir. Bravo.

Hey, I’m in the process of reading your guide, which is extremely helpful, god bless, and I know where the coin is from in your section on chapter four. It is involved with the quest from ylsa

I really like this guide. Each chapter has a short synopsis with helpful hints, a quest guide, and descriptions of important NPCs. Plus it includes great tips and helps me keep everything organized since it references all of the useful page numbers for each chapter. I could not have run OotA without it!

Love this product, as I said in my review, but I had a question I was wondering if anyone out there might be able to help with. I am going to be running this game soon, and one of my players has a drow PC who has been living on the surface by wearing armor that covers her skin entirely and sticking away from large cities and such that would cause possibilities of her being found out.

Anyways, we're going into this after playing through Lost Mine of Phandelver, and I wanted to make some of the captured stuff custom for her, since she is a drow after all. Any suggestions on this front?

Also, she has a brother who abandoned her when she was young, they were both drow exiles and he lived by thievery until almost getting caught and throwing her under the bus. I was thinking about re-introducing him in this module and was hoping for suggestions on that front as well. The only ideas I have thus far is that he is also a prisoner, captured before she was, or him having returned to Menzoberanzan...See more

Scanned image
These products were created by scanning an original printed edition. Most older books are in scanned image format because original digital layout files never existed or were no longer available from the publisher.

For PDF download editions, each page has been run through Optical Character Recognition (OCR) software to attempt to decipher the printed text. The result of this OCR process is placed invisibly behind the picture of each scanned page, to allow for text searching. However, any text in a given book set on a graphical background or in handwritten fonts would most likely not be picked up by the OCR software, and is therefore not searchable. Also, a few larger books may be resampled to fit into the system, and may not have this searchable text background.

For printed books, we have performed high-resolution scans of an original hardcopy of the book. We essentially digitally re-master the book. Unfortunately, the resulting quality of these books is not as high. It's the problem of making a copy of a copy. The text is fine for reading, but illustration work starts to run dark, pixellating and/or losing shades of grey. Moiré patterns may develop in photos. We mark clearly which print titles come from scanned image books so that you can make an informed purchase decision about the quality of what you will receive.
Original electronic format
These ebooks were created from the original electronic layout files, and therefore are fully text searchable. Also, their file size tends to be smaller than scanned image books. Most newer books are in the original electronic format. Both download and print editions of such books should be high quality.
