I know its only 2 bucks, but its been 3 years since George K commented that the PDF preview doesn't work and its still not been corrected. You might want to take a look at that.

For some reason, the site won't allow the pdf preview to open. Possibly due to the size. This is why I put some of the samples up in the description.

What edition is this geared towards, 5E? There have been enough changes to the geography of the Realms both in- and out-of-game over the editions that old maps are no longer altogether accurate.

Hi, Anne. You are absolutely right. The majority of the events of the "Sundering" that happened between 4e and 5e had reversed many of the changes over the past century in the timeline. That being said, I've been trying to work the newer changes into the existing cartography. I can't say I will catch everything, however. If you or anyone sees anything that should or shouldn't be there, please let me know.

Hi, Rich! Thanks for these maps, the Silverymoon map is just what i was looking for. As an extension to Anne's question, did you have a realmsyear in mind for the map of Silverymoon? Thanks again.

Glad the both of you could make use of these. I almost didn't make these as this was intended on being a side project. :)

Thomas, the Silverymoon map is based off of the most current map I could find of the city. I could not find a 4E version of the map and I couldn't find any major changes to the layout of the city within the 4E books. That being said, the map should work just fine for the 5E timeline (approximately 1490 DR according the the Sword Coast Adventurer's Guide).

Again, if I'm missing something, please bring it to my attention. It's a big world and I can only work with the resources I have. Thanks again for supporting this product!

Scanned image
These products were created by scanning an original printed edition. Most older books are in scanned image format because original digital layout files never existed or were no longer available from the publisher.

For PDF download editions, each page has been run through Optical Character Recognition (OCR) software to attempt to decipher the printed text. The result of this OCR process is placed invisibly behind the picture of each scanned page, to allow for text searching. However, any text in a given book set on a graphical background or in handwritten fonts would most likely not be picked up by the OCR software, and is therefore not searchable. Also, a few larger books may be resampled to fit into the system, and may not have this searchable text background.

For printed books, we have performed high-resolution scans of an original hardcopy of the book. We essentially digitally re-master the book. Unfortunately, the resulting quality of these books is not as high. It's the problem of making a copy of a copy. The text is fine for reading, but illustration work starts to run dark, pixellating and/or losing shades of grey. Moiré patterns may develop in photos. We mark clearly which print titles come from scanned image books so that you can make an informed purchase decision about the quality of what you will receive.

Original electronic format
These ebooks were created from the original electronic layout files, and therefore are fully text searchable. Also, their file size tends to be smaller than scanned image books. Most newer books are in the original electronic format. Both download and print editions of such books should be high quality.
