Suggested Price $1.99

Unhappy with their lots in life, an unlikely group of adventurers seek to find new lives and untold riches in the newly discovered continent of Izdihar. Across the Faragoth Sea lies fertile soil to be farmed, untamed wilds to be explored, and vast fortunes to be earned!

Destiny Abroad is a series of adventures set in a newly discovered continent, allowing players to start fresh and escape their pasts. The first adventure encompasses the voyage across the vast ocean, where players will acclimate to life on the high sea and deal with danger unique to lengthy sea crossing. Use this adventure in your own game, or play through the entire series and let your players explore this exciting new world!

This 11-page D&D 5e adventure is created for 1st-level characters, takes 2-3 hours to play through, and offers players a variety of encounters, like combat, skill checks, and NPC interaction. This adventure is also written with new DMs in mind, offering prewritten dialog, suggestions for adding to the encounters, and tips on how to tailor this adventure to your specific players.

I think one of the greatest measures of an adventure is if it’s a pleasure to read, even without any intention of playing it. This certainly fit that category. Awesome little product!

Thank you for this! I used it as a base for an opening session into my new campaign of maritime treasure hunters and it went down very well with both new and experienced players. I have 6 PCs(!) so had to scale it up a bit but that was easy enough to do :)
I'd be glad to hear if and when you write the next ones...

Is there any chance of a printer friendly version? My printer driver can't handle large background images. (Plus, it's kind of a waste printing a grey background.)

I honestly hadn't considered it, but thank you for bringing that up! I will see about adding printer-friendly files to my titles when I have time. Thanks!

So is there a time frame for the others in the series?

Hey J! I haven't been focusing on the adventures much lately, but rather resources that players and DMs can use in their own campaign. My next projects are currently a shop/NPC with goods and "quests" and also an encounter that you can run in any game about a lawman searching for an outlaw.

Scanned image
These products were created by scanning an original printed edition. Most older books are in scanned image format because original digital layout files never existed or were no longer available from the publisher.

For PDF download editions, each page has been run through Optical Character Recognition (OCR) software to attempt to decipher the printed text. The result of this OCR process is placed invisibly behind the picture of each scanned page, to allow for text searching. However, any text in a given book set on a graphical background or in handwritten fonts would most likely not be picked up by the OCR software, and is therefore not searchable. Also, a few larger books may be resampled to fit into the system, and may not have this searchable text background.

For printed books, we have performed high-resolution scans of an original hardcopy of the book. We essentially digitally re-master the book. Unfortunately, the resulting quality of these books is not as high. It's the problem of making a copy of a copy. The text is fine for reading, but illustration work starts to run dark, pixellating and/or losing shades of grey. Moiré patterns may develop in photos. We mark clearly which print titles come from scanned image books so that you can make an informed purchase decision about the quality of what you will receive.
Original electronic format
These ebooks were created from the original electronic layout files, and therefore are fully text searchable. Also, their file size tends to be smaller than scanned image books. Most newer books are in the original electronic format. Both download and print editions of such books should be high quality.
