Ten Clever Kobolds

This is a PDF of Ten Clever Kobolds. If you are looking for the Fantasy Grounds VTT module – click here.

The Monster Manual gives you one kobold, and a winged kobold. That’s nice, but you all know they can be diverse and talented little buggers when they set their minds to it.

What’s inside “Ten Clever Kobolds”?

  • Ten new kobold stat blocks, not just swapping out equipment but reflecting their skills, training and special abilities so you can populate an entire tribe!
  • The chieftain, shaman, dragon disciple, filthfighter, scout, sniper, ranger, trapmaster, wyrmspeaker, and sorcerer are featured!
  • Two new animal companions for the kobolds – cavern lizard and riding snake!
  • Stats for a swarm of kobold hatchlings!
  • Meepo. In 5E. Meepo.

Written by ENnie award winning author Jeff Ibach; cowriter of AEG’s Toolbox, Ultimate Toolbox, and many other articles and writing for 3rd edition era sourcebooks now converting adventures and books to 5E for Legendary Games.

The kobold trapmaster's Dragon Dung action is missing the damage it only says "Hit: ) thunder".

Still worth every penny.

I bought this literally for Meepo, because I'm stealing DotA characters to populate my homebrew.

What is there not to love about Kobolds? Devious, underhanded and vile little creatures ... every DM's dream creature that just got better with the release of this fantastic addition to 5e monster madness.

Well formatted with no creature stats spreading over multiple pages (a major pet peeve of mine that I was glad not to see here). I wont spoiler what it contains as many DM's will find the 10 Kobolds presented in here of much use within their campaign, short to say that the Kobold Sniper add on's are a must add when you use these critters, and your players will never see Kobolds in the same light once they have encountered Meepo, The Kobold King!

For the $$$ paid, I would have paid double ( and more) if able ... well worth the investment and looking forward to the next instalment from Jeff (2 thumbs up).

Scanned image
These products were created by scanning an original printed edition. Most older books are in scanned image format because original digital layout files never existed or were no longer available from the publisher.

For PDF download editions, each page has been run through Optical Character Recognition (OCR) software to attempt to decipher the printed text. The result of this OCR process is placed invisibly behind the picture of each scanned page, to allow for text searching. However, any text in a given book set on a graphical background or in handwritten fonts would most likely not be picked up by the OCR software, and is therefore not searchable. Also, a few larger books may be resampled to fit into the system, and may not have this searchable text background.

For printed books, we have performed high-resolution scans of an original hardcopy of the book. We essentially digitally re-master the book. Unfortunately, the resulting quality of these books is not as high. It's the problem of making a copy of a copy. The text is fine for reading, but illustration work starts to run dark, pixellating and/or losing shades of grey. Moiré patterns may develop in photos. We mark clearly which print titles come from scanned image books so that you can make an informed purchase decision about the quality of what you will receive.
Original electronic format
These ebooks were created from the original electronic layout files, and therefore are fully text searchable. Also, their file size tends to be smaller than scanned image books. Most newer books are in the original electronic format. Both download and print editions of such books should be high quality.
