Are your player's going fishing in the Underdark? Booked a ride with the Kua Toa Travel Agency? Taking a cruise on the Darklake? Well then Journey Through the Center of the Underdark 2 - The Darklake Strikes Back is just what the Leemooggoogon ordered!

Like the first Journey, The Darklake Strikes Back contains several encounters designed with Out of the Abyss traveling days in mind, but easily inserted into any 5th Edition Dungeons & Dragons Underdark setting.

Unlike the first Journey, The Darklake Strikes Back has a mid sized three level dynamically defended dungeon, complete with a dragon at the bottom! This complex is right at home on the Darklake but could also readily be inserted into your Tyranny of Dragons campaign as well.

There is a problem with the player's maps having the numbers on them for the main level, upper level and lower level for the Kobold fortress.

Hi David. Yeah, I only recently uploaded my map files as separate files by request, but I wouldn't call them player maps for that very reason. I'm afraid the PC I made them on crashed, so all I've got are those files.

Hi Tony. I just bought this product and am reading through it. Am noticing typos. As a DMs Guild author myself, I know how hard it is to proofread one's own stuff...the eyes start to glaze after the tenth time reading it. I'd be happy to proof your stuff pre-release if you ever want me to do that.

Hi all! Thanks for all the early support! Copper medal seller in its first two days! Awesome!

I wanted to mention that I made two updates since I first uploaded the files. The first fixed a big typo in one of the staffs that we missed on multiple reads. The second added a section to the introduction and added two new pieces of art. You can see the second update in the full preview. So if you bought early please feel free to grab the updated file.

That should do it for any changes - but if anyone happens to notice something that needs addressing please let me know.

And thanks again!

You reference "Fat Goblin Game's 5th Edition Fantasy Races – Kobolds" for more information about the trap chalk, but I'm unable to find that product. They have a "dog-faced kobold" race book for Pathfinder. Is that what you're referring to?

Hi Ben - I thought their Kobolds would be released this week and the timing would be perfect. Bit of a hold up on final layout I believe... so brief delay. Its definitely on its way and once release I'll share links. I'm really proud of not just the three Kobold subraces but a whole new trap placing mechanic, hinted at by the lesser staff of trapping and the trap chalk.

Scanned image
These products were created by scanning an original printed edition. Most older books are in scanned image format because original digital layout files never existed or were no longer available from the publisher.

For PDF download editions, each page has been run through Optical Character Recognition (OCR) software to attempt to decipher the printed text. The result of this OCR process is placed invisibly behind the picture of each scanned page, to allow for text searching. However, any text in a given book set on a graphical background or in handwritten fonts would most likely not be picked up by the OCR software, and is therefore not searchable. Also, a few larger books may be resampled to fit into the system, and may not have this searchable text background.

For printed books, we have performed high-resolution scans of an original hardcopy of the book. We essentially digitally re-master the book. Unfortunately, the resulting quality of these books is not as high. It's the problem of making a copy of a copy. The text is fine for reading, but illustration work starts to run dark, pixellating and/or losing shades of grey. Moiré patterns may develop in photos. We mark clearly which print titles come from scanned image books so that you can make an informed purchase decision about the quality of what you will receive.

Original electronic format
These ebooks were created from the original electronic layout files, and therefore are fully text searchable. Also, their file size tends to be smaller than scanned image books. Most newer books are in the original electronic format. Both download and print editions of such books should be high quality.
