Puzzle #1 has a typo. It should read, "He pulls 6 copper pieces from his pocket and places them on the table in two rows." - not 7.

Thanks for the feedback. I will get the typos corrected when I add my additional puzzles!

Puzzle #2 should be modified with the addendum, "Your final solution must contain at least 5 rows, but only 5 rows are allowed to have exactly 4 coins."

If you look at the provided solution, there are at least 17 rows (look hard), which breaks the puzzle's instructions. The "only 5 rows are allowed to have exactly 4 coins" keeps out the following solution

2 2
2 2

This actually has 6 rows with 4 coins.

Why are there 2 files? What is the difference?

Not sure. I tried to update the file name after the upload, so maybe that caused some wackiness. I just uploaded a clean version and deleted old versions. Hopefully that corrected the problem.

Unless it shows all the versions you have downloaded? The latest version number will have all the most current updates.

Hey Erik! These are great, and I like how easy they would be to implement! I'm a big fan of Puzzles 6 & 8.

Unless I'm misunderstanding something, shouldn't the last puzzle be 2/5 and 3/7?

Thanks! You are correct about the last puzzle, I will update it asap!

Thanks for the feedback about which puzzles you enjoy, I will keep my eye out for more of that type that are able to be converted to be RPG friendly.

Went back and bought a copy even though it was going to give me the update for free. Thanks for contributing to the community.

Thanks for the support! I am still putting together another update, so be sure to keep an eye out for it. It is taking a lot of time to find dungeon appropriate puzzles, but it is worth it given the positive feedback I have been getting!

Already used this in my game today.....it's not easy to gather these types of riddles and puzzles that can be easily adapted into the game without feeling to 'mathy' or out of place.
I'll keep an eye on this and donate if it evolves into a more complete resource of riddles and puzzles. Thanks for uploading.

I'm in agreement. It's hard to find simple riddles that work well without completely overwhelming players. Expand the content, clean up the formatting/graphics, and this could be one of those supplements that's useful to nearly every DM.

Keep up the good work, Erik. I'll have my eye on this one for updates.

I will put some time into it to expand it. Truthfully, I wasn't sure how well it would go over so I just threw it together quick since I had the stuff laying around from running my game. Now that I know there is a demand for stuff like this, I will expand it and make it more visually appealing.

Scanned image
These products were created by scanning an original printed edition. Most older books are in scanned image format because original digital layout files never existed or were no longer available from the publisher.

For PDF download editions, each page has been run through Optical Character Recognition (OCR) software to attempt to decipher the printed text. The result of this OCR process is placed invisibly behind the picture of each scanned page, to allow for text searching. However, any text in a given book set on a graphical background or in handwritten fonts would most likely not be picked up by the OCR software, and is therefore not searchable. Also, a few larger books may be resampled to fit into the system, and may not have this searchable text background.

For printed books, we have performed high-resolution scans of an original hardcopy of the book. We essentially digitally re-master the book. Unfortunately, the resulting quality of these books is not as high. It's the problem of making a copy of a copy. The text is fine for reading, but illustration work starts to run dark, pixellating and/or losing shades of grey. Moiré patterns may develop in photos. We mark clearly which print titles come from scanned image books so that you can make an informed purchase decision about the quality of what you will receive.

Original electronic format
These ebooks were created from the original electronic layout files, and therefore are fully text searchable. Also, their file size tends to be smaller than scanned image books. Most newer books are in the original electronic format. Both download and print editions of such books should be high quality.
