Man, the temporal limit is too restrictive. Consider at least adding the proficiency bonus or something.

Firstly i want to say i love the idea of the class. A thief who steals time is just really cool.

i would say your a little bit harsh on the class. by this i mean the character is going to be constantly exhausted which one or two level isn't bad, but the benefits don't really make it worth it.
also the collectors are a really cool idea, but an alternative would be to make them more like the warlock patrons. Rather then have them show up randomly during fights and kill the rogue, because you know that's whats going to happen, you could make them more powerful and have them be more of an eternal enemy that hunts them down. because at the moment they can be killed by a party pretty easily which removes some of their threat.

I really like the anomaly table. but just like the wild magic table maybe throw in some good options and some fun ones, rather then all be bad. Maybe one of the options could be for the next 1d4 hours you don't move you jump forward in time to where you would end...See more

Thank you for the great feedback. You may be right that it is a bit harsh but I also think this archetype has the potential to be too powerfull. As for the collectors, they probably won't kill the rogue because they disappear after catching him but I really like the Idea of a more powerfull being. I also like the Idea of positive results on the anomaly table but they would have to be pretty rare to not incentivise rolling on the table.

I plan to update this archetype and a giant anomaly table and maybe a more powerfull collector really sound like fun things to add. I will also look into balancing the Time Fragments economy a bit more.

I am confused about how Temporal Anomaly and your Temporal Limit.

You can only hold an amount of time fragments equal to you charisma modifier, right? So, how can you reach your temporal limit, if you can't spend more fragments than you have?

Is your temporal limit your charisma modifier per long rest, per round, in the history of time?

I like the ideas of this class, but I feel you restrict time fragments too much. You have to exhaust yourself in order to refill your time fragments, which also have a maximum of only 5, even at 20th level. Ki and Sorcery Points are given for free and scale with level, which makes more sense to me.

Thanks for the comment. You not only regain the Fragments by exhausting yourself but also by hitting with a sneak attack once per enemy. This should give you many more Fragments and should also make the Temporal Limit meaningfull. And yes the limit is your charsima modifier per long rest . I feel giving more Fragments would makes this archetype a bit too powerfull.

Scanned image
These products were created by scanning an original printed edition. Most older books are in scanned image format because original digital layout files never existed or were no longer available from the publisher.

For PDF download editions, each page has been run through Optical Character Recognition (OCR) software to attempt to decipher the printed text. The result of this OCR process is placed invisibly behind the picture of each scanned page, to allow for text searching. However, any text in a given book set on a graphical background or in handwritten fonts would most likely not be picked up by the OCR software, and is therefore not searchable. Also, a few larger books may be resampled to fit into the system, and may not have this searchable text background.

For printed books, we have performed high-resolution scans of an original hardcopy of the book. We essentially digitally re-master the book. Unfortunately, the resulting quality of these books is not as high. It's the problem of making a copy of a copy. The text is fine for reading, but illustration work starts to run dark, pixellating and/or losing shades of grey. Moiré patterns may develop in photos. We mark clearly which print titles come from scanned image books so that you can make an informed purchase decision about the quality of what you will receive.

Original electronic format
These ebooks were created from the original electronic layout files, and therefore are fully text searchable. Also, their file size tends to be smaller than scanned image books. Most newer books are in the original electronic format. Both download and print editions of such books should be high quality.
