Pacts & Patrons (and eldritch invocations!), new class options for the warlock - now with kittens

Suggested Price $1.95

NOTE: this contribution is now obsolete, as a new, better version of it has been included in my Multiversatility – Player’s Options Pack.

And here comes the greatest of major updates, for Pacts & Patrons just hit its 250th sale!

With new art, minor tweaks, the addition of my previous Familiar Faces work, and many new contents, Pacts & Patrons is now an ultimate collection of all the class option you could ask for your warlock character, and ever those you didn't know you would like!

Snake oil salesman bombast aside, I really did some work to improve my most appreciated booklet here on the Guild.

Those who arleady purchased it will now have a better collection of pacts and patrons for the same price, while other customers have the chance to get it all for less than two bucks.

So, what does Pacts & Patrons include right now?

The Pact of the Aegis lets you summon a magical armor, a gift of your patron to protect its (un)trusted servant.

The Pact of Concoctions transforms the warlock into a true brewer of poisons and potions alike.

With the Pact of Contracts, a warlock becomes the chosen tempter or temptress of their patron, a trader in treacherous “gifts”.

The Pact of Visions blesses the warlock with a limited but still useful prescience.

Whether an elder dragon from the days of yore, a Naga demigod or an immortal serpent, The Ancient Scaled One is a master of whispered secrets and poisonous charm.

The Archmage is a powerful arcane spellcaster that acts as a patron for enterprising warlocks.

The Ascendant is a soon-to-be god, or at least its warlocks believe so, and spread its word around the world.

A few warlocks are protected by Fate Itself, and deal with the power of doom, destiny and fortune.

Some warlocks enter a pact with Mother Nature, the very essence of natural life around the world – or perhaps a very powerful entity that impersonates her.

But the most astonishing of the warlock patrons remains The Phoenix, a true beacon of endless life, the very essence of the flames of renewal and of the light of rejuvenation.

The cruoringo is a bloodthirsty monster that masquerades itself as a harmless flamingo.

The eye stalker is best described as a disobedient beholderkin in search for a parental figure.

The feathered dog is a big, flying pup with a faithful temperament.

The gremlin is a malicious diminutive trickster that loves to hack and slash humanoids’ tools and inventions.

The guiding light, a lesser celestial, acts as a guide and counselor sent by the most benevolent of patrons.

The houd is a proud hunting dog, often employed as a pet by aristocratic hunters.

The moon cat is a fairy kitten, a smart, teleporting puss with a feisty character.

The phoenikin is a mystical flaming bird, perhaps an offspring of the Phoenix.

The unborn is, to speak out loudly, an undead newborn; the implications of its existence are quite unsettling.

The winged cat is, as the name suggests, a winged puss, a cute and useful pet sought after by many.

Along with pacts, patrons, and familiars, you can also choose from 17 new eldritch invocations.

Oh my, I really love the warlock!

And remember: if you have any suggestion, please write a review and comment. I'm more than eager to update my works to make them more suitable.

Thanks for the review, Tim!
True, when possible I prefer to base the features of my subclasses on existing ones, because I believe this is the easiest way to balance them. Of course, the adapting process sometimes is as simple as changing the damage type, but the more I play with classmongering, the more I find out that you can use the spell damage table to transform a healing feature into an attack one - for example.
I believe that it is better, on the long run, to offer balanced - and interesting - options rather than overpowered or poorly written ones.

Thank you for your review, Timothy. :)
Sometimes it's disappointing to have so many downloads and to see so few reviews.

Scanned image
These products were created by scanning an original printed edition. Most older books are in scanned image format because original digital layout files never existed or were no longer available from the publisher.

For PDF download editions, each page has been run through Optical Character Recognition (OCR) software to attempt to decipher the printed text. The result of this OCR process is placed invisibly behind the picture of each scanned page, to allow for text searching. However, any text in a given book set on a graphical background or in handwritten fonts would most likely not be picked up by the OCR software, and is therefore not searchable. Also, a few larger books may be resampled to fit into the system, and may not have this searchable text background.

For printed books, we have performed high-resolution scans of an original hardcopy of the book. We essentially digitally re-master the book. Unfortunately, the resulting quality of these books is not as high. It's the problem of making a copy of a copy. The text is fine for reading, but illustration work starts to run dark, pixellating and/or losing shades of grey. Moiré patterns may develop in photos. We mark clearly which print titles come from scanned image books so that you can make an informed purchase decision about the quality of what you will receive.
Original electronic format
These ebooks were created from the original electronic layout files, and therefore are fully text searchable. Also, their file size tends to be smaller than scanned image books. Most newer books are in the original electronic format. Both download and print editions of such books should be high quality.
