I took a while to input all of the items into Fantasy grounds and then re-exported it as its own module (I think I did it correctly). I figure it might make this more appealing to some users, or at least save someone the time of doing it themselves?

Oh definitely! I have a hard time par5ing things into FG, so when the owner of a product does it, its soooo helpful! Since I purchased the .pdf version already, where is the .mod version?

I sent it (and I thought I had heard back?) to Patrick Pullen back when I made that comment. I guess he never added it to the actual files you got when you purchased?

The update was just some simple aesthetic modifications and a couple of grammar corrections that were bothering me. No real changes. Thanks.

One more needed. Goggles of the Hawk refers to a "pare" of goggles. This should read "pair" unless the goggles were trimmed or cut away from something else. :D

If anyone has a player that comes up with cool or unusual uses for any of these, please let me know. I have put 3 of these in my Friday game so far (The Acorns, the bag of sand and the rod of madness). They used the acorns in a very large drow cavern that had plenty of room for the forest and it worked as a great escape plan!

I had a player build a sand castle with the Bag of Sand while they were shipwrecked on an island awaiting their griffons to come save them. LOL

In my play-test of the items, I had a player smear the blood from the cauldron on a dagger and then put a pool of blood on the ground to make it look like a person had been murdered, and they used it as a distraction to get around some guards. I never thought of that use when I created the magic item.

My players.... what can I say. They are ship wreaked again!!! They used the portable wall on a row boat thinking they could kill a shark with it. They sunk the boat and couldn't catch up with the ship that left them for dead.

You did a good job with the mechanics of all the items! I know one of my players in particular that will try to find ways to break them (I think everyone has that "one" player) but I will let you know if anything comes up.

The Portable Wall basically grows to full size in whatever position you lay it down, correct?

I agree! I just want to make sure about the portable wall before giving it as treasure to my players. I know they will try some crazy crap with it that I haven't thought of!!! LOL

Yes, that is exactly how it works, Johnathan W.. The dimensions basically just change from inches to feet in whatever position it was put down.

It seems pretty crass to start your product name with !# just to win at alphabetical order.

That is my item ID number (#055) Not sure why that bothers you so much but, I will replace it. Please save future discussions for important and product related purposes! I find it "crass" for you to make such remarks for no real purpose. Look in a phone directory (if you can find one) Ever wonder why so many names start with A1???

I don't want to make a big deal out of this. I appreciate the support Matt H but there is no need to call people names. People are always going to have opinions and this IS the Internet. It happens!

Crass: lacking sensitivity, refinement, or intelligence. Really? Do something productive with your time, Thomas S. Ad hominem attacks on the internet are CRASS!!!

Scanned image
These products were created by scanning an original printed edition. Most older books are in scanned image format because original digital layout files never existed or were no longer available from the publisher.

For PDF download editions, each page has been run through Optical Character Recognition (OCR) software to attempt to decipher the printed text. The result of this OCR process is placed invisibly behind the picture of each scanned page, to allow for text searching. However, any text in a given book set on a graphical background or in handwritten fonts would most likely not be picked up by the OCR software, and is therefore not searchable. Also, a few larger books may be resampled to fit into the system, and may not have this searchable text background.

For printed books, we have performed high-resolution scans of an original hardcopy of the book. We essentially digitally re-master the book. Unfortunately, the resulting quality of these books is not as high. It's the problem of making a copy of a copy. The text is fine for reading, but illustration work starts to run dark, pixellating and/or losing shades of grey. Moiré patterns may develop in photos. We mark clearly which print titles come from scanned image books so that you can make an informed purchase decision about the quality of what you will receive.

Original electronic format
These ebooks were created from the original electronic layout files, and therefore are fully text searchable. Also, their file size tends to be smaller than scanned image books. Most newer books are in the original electronic format. Both download and print editions of such books should be high quality.
