I absolutely love this idea! What would be a good race to play this as?

Would you include the death burst feature on the fungal wild shape or when creating Gas spores. Seems like a really accident prone way to kill an entire city... or would the ones grown from regrowth not have it at least because it says it takes a few days for them to fully grow.

Versions, the numbers at the end are the date. In case anyone prefers an older version for whatever reason. There is also a supplement with fungal creatures that can be used with the fungal form feature!

I was looking for something exactly like this as I have a player who is building a Druid and wanted a mushroom focus vs. what was available, so this is amazing! Thanks!

I kinda wish that you could either use the level 6 option to heal or as poison. Beyond this I really like it. I think it'd be nice if you mentioned where the spore servant template is in the monster manual because I couldn't find it nor could my dm for the longest time(not knowing of myconids)

So are these AL legal? One of my players is interested in this but since the games we run are at a store doing the AL modules and books they want a legal character that could go to other events like Gencon. I ask because you are actually mentioned on the DnD Wizards website and I would hope they wouldn't put up nonlegal stuff saying "Hey you can totally use this! Well, not in our games since it's illegal for those but whatever!"

Homebrew content is not AL legal. There is a site up you can find that list a few sources of what players can use I think its the PHB and your choice of one of the following books:

Volo's guide
Sword coast adventurer's guide
(cannot rmember the name but the princes of the apocalypse bbook with the exception of the aracrokra.)

Hey, I've never done D&D before, but I've been looking for a class I would enjoy. However, me being the the one of the group with a overactive imagination, want something that is more complex then the base classes in this game. I've always been a fan of necromancy and druidism in fantasy, but I've never seen a character mesh the 2 schools in such a way that is twisted yet still serving nature in its whole.

This is the closest I've seen, but I always imagined a type of character that does everything for the soul purpose of returning it to the earth, and the eradication of all things that harm the earth. So if need be they would resurrect the dead, or twist tree's into horrible ent/undead abominations to inflict disease or blight upon all things.

So I was wondering if it would be possible to make a character similar to this, but is more Brutal in its abilities, like summoning zombies or skeletons, armoring them with oak/tree bark. Piercing enemies with diseased vines or fungi, or manipulating...See more

This is honestly one of my favorite ideas for a druid circle ive seen, however i do have a few questions. Regrowth states that plant creatures can be regrown from the corpses of small or larger creatures. Does this include sentient plant creatures, such as myconids and blights?
Also, when you perform a long rest, does the plant creature return to an inanimate state? And in the case of blights and/or myconids, would they lose their sentience?

The "Siphon" feature of Fertilize confuses me. Do you roll the dead creature's hit die for the temporary hit points, or do you gain the max?

Does Fungal Wildshape include the myconids? As they are fungus but are not in the fungi section of the MM.

Have you added security to your PDF's? I love the Death Bloom circle concept and I am trying to create an NPC of this circle for my campaign I am building using a whole plant archetype and I am trying to copy text from the PDF for easy entry into Roll20, but it comes out as garbled text when I paste it, like the text is somehow copy/paste protected. None of my other PDF's do this. It's very frustrating because it means I will have to type the text in for the class traits into my Roll20 character sheet. If I use another (non-Adobe) reader it works. Keep up the great work!

I haven't added security, I use Homebrewery's template and print to pdf option, so I'm not sure why it's doing that. Here's a plain text version for you though: http://pastebin.com/bMJTMPhJ

Adobe dropped the ball a while back. There are various better PDF readers for RPG use. I vastly prefer FoxIt Reader myself. I love it's ability to use tabs, form fields on any document, highlight, and copy content. I don't even install Adobe Reader anymore, because it's always loadd with security bugs anyway.

An excellent druid circle with a wonderful flavoring. One of my players is definitely using this character in my campaign and I will give feedback as that goes. I have a few comments, however; would the expanded spell list work better as a circle spell table, or do you not wish for these spells to be always available like the other circle spells are?

There are a couple of reasons I didn't use a circle spell table. Firstly, I didn't want to 'infringe' upon the Circle of the Land's feature of Circle Spells. Secondly, I wasn't satisfied with many combinations for the spells. Thirdly, I didn't want them to be always prepared like the other circle spells are, I mainly wanted them just to be available for the druid to prepare. Lastly, I didn't want to use a 'feature slot' for the Circle spells when I only wanted to add a handful of spells. I may consider implementing them as Circle Spells.

Thank you so much for your comments :)

I agree that having them as circle spells would be better. I think it would give a bit more oomph

Scanned image
These products were created by scanning an original printed edition. Most older books are in scanned image format because original digital layout files never existed or were no longer available from the publisher.

For PDF download editions, each page has been run through Optical Character Recognition (OCR) software to attempt to decipher the printed text. The result of this OCR process is placed invisibly behind the picture of each scanned page, to allow for text searching. However, any text in a given book set on a graphical background or in handwritten fonts would most likely not be picked up by the OCR software, and is therefore not searchable. Also, a few larger books may be resampled to fit into the system, and may not have this searchable text background.

For printed books, we have performed high-resolution scans of an original hardcopy of the book. We essentially digitally re-master the book. Unfortunately, the resulting quality of these books is not as high. It's the problem of making a copy of a copy. The text is fine for reading, but illustration work starts to run dark, pixellating and/or losing shades of grey. Moiré patterns may develop in photos. We mark clearly which print titles come from scanned image books so that you can make an informed purchase decision about the quality of what you will receive.

Original electronic format
These ebooks were created from the original electronic layout files, and therefore are fully text searchable. Also, their file size tends to be smaller than scanned image books. Most newer books are in the original electronic format. Both download and print editions of such books should be high quality.
