Explore the worlds of Realmspace in greater detail than ever before with this ambitious project updating the lore of Realmspace in the Forgotten Realms setting.

It's the Forgotten Realms...In SPAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAACE!!!

This is an update to the SPELLJAMMER Realmspace lore published by TSR (which was subsequently bought by WotC), taking into account the events of the Spellplague and Sundering events and related history. Any monster or game options included are designed for use with 5th edition Dungeons and Dragons.

This book is being released incrementally chapter by chapter.

1/18/16 - Table of Contents and Introduction v1.0 released - plans to update and reformat to v1.1 soon

1/21/16 - Chapter 1: The Canyons of Anadia v1.0 released - using different formatting after receiving feedback from the previous release, and decided to make a compromise and at least add monster stat entries to the chapters from here on

1/21/16 - Chapter 1 has been reformatted and re-organized from Landscape to Portait, to make the text more printer friendly and improve the aesthetics of the project.

1/22/16 -Table of Contents and Introduction updated to v1.1 - includes reformatting from Landscape to Portrait, reorganizing information, and addition of new lore including stats on the Sun, basic lore about wildspace, and slight revisions/expansions of Sun lore.

I used the old typo'd text by mistake in the new Portrait style release - I just fixed it and re-uploaded.

I changed the format of Chapter 1 from Landscape to Portrait, and re-organized the material, including bigger pictures and more room for notes and added text.

The Portrait layout is much better than the landscape. Overall my review still stands at 3* but the most basic aspect is improved. Thank you!

Just a few minutes ago I noticed a typo in one of the sections in the file - I fixed the error and re-uploaded just now. I hope people enjoy this one - a lot more went in this time.

Scanned image
These products were created by scanning an original printed edition. Most older books are in scanned image format because original digital layout files never existed or were no longer available from the publisher.

For PDF download editions, each page has been run through Optical Character Recognition (OCR) software to attempt to decipher the printed text. The result of this OCR process is placed invisibly behind the picture of each scanned page, to allow for text searching. However, any text in a given book set on a graphical background or in handwritten fonts would most likely not be picked up by the OCR software, and is therefore not searchable. Also, a few larger books may be resampled to fit into the system, and may not have this searchable text background.

For printed books, we have performed high-resolution scans of an original hardcopy of the book. We essentially digitally re-master the book. Unfortunately, the resulting quality of these books is not as high. It's the problem of making a copy of a copy. The text is fine for reading, but illustration work starts to run dark, pixellating and/or losing shades of grey. Moiré patterns may develop in photos. We mark clearly which print titles come from scanned image books so that you can make an informed purchase decision about the quality of what you will receive.
Original electronic format
These ebooks were created from the original electronic layout files, and therefore are fully text searchable. Also, their file size tends to be smaller than scanned image books. Most newer books are in the original electronic format. Both download and print editions of such books should be high quality.
